New Batman means new Batmobile right? :cwink: This is a thread to discuss all things about the Batmobile.

Should it be included in the movie? What should it look like? Should it have gadgets like in the Tim Burton movies, or should it be realistic like Nolan or BvS?

i would like something like this, without the front face shield

Yeah the Telltale Batmobile is FIRE.

I agree they should trend away from the tank influence. If we're going with a stronger emphasis on the noir-ish, detective elements of Batman, with a caped crusader who's closer to the beginning of his career, I think something more low key could be cool.

I don't want a sport car or a tank look to Batmobile. I like when Batmobile has a rocket vibe to it.

So - evolution of B89/BR, BTAS, Arkham Asylym or something like that.

I like a good tank as much as the next guy, but I’d rather the next car look like...well...a car. A formidable looking, tricked out, badass car.

Maybe it could be a regular sports car that 'transforms' into the BatMobile with the push of a button, allowing Batman to easily evade cops (If in this universe the Gotham PD think of him as a vigilante like the Nolanverse)

Batman in the comics always has different batmobiles... maybe this could be the case for the film as well?

Tank Batmobile was rather a problem in BB and TDK. Suddenly appears in the middle of a city to everyone's surprise. For a gritty take like that, they needed to use a flying vehicle from the start. Like in Year One. It made a lot more sense in a gritty take like that.

All the Telltale design work, from symbol to suit, is spot on for me.

But I’m in the extreme minority who would like to see more of the Denny O’Niel take where Alfred is literally driving him around in a limousine. The Cosmopolis limo Pattinson had in that movie would be awesome. Basically a Batcave on wheels, that to anyone on the street, would just look like a limo.

I feel like there are certain situations where Batman would want a tank-like vehicle. . . but it should not be his everyday car. Save the Bat-Tank for when JL business requires heavy firepower. The Batmobile should emphasize speed, maneuverability, and urban stealth. Its not a weapon, its a way to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible, while providing a useful base of support.

Definitely agree that we need to get back to the car aesthetic as opposed to Tanks. I love the TellTale Batmobile. I hope they aim for something closer to that. Sleek and pristine with an aerodynamic edge. It should be aesthetically pleasing to the eye

I've always liked the more elongated rocketesq looking Batmobiles. Definitely in agreement it needs to be a car as opposed to a tank this go around.

I initially liked Snyder's Batmobile, but the more I saw it in action, the more I was like "Oh, this is just Nolan's only sleeker."

I also liked it initially (on the reveal photo), but in the film it was surprisingly unremarkable. Looked very uninspired.

It's really hard to get The Batmobile wrong as long as some thought goes into it.

Some thought. Not wayyy too much. As long as its functional and they don't explain that it exists because it was designed to jump over something towing a bridge, we should be fine.
