I completely forgot about this suit from the trailer, good call on this. Yup, definitely thinking, based on the description that it'll look something like this

That's exactly what I was hoping not to see. Batman all armored up to fight superman. I hope they don't expect us to think he'd survive one of those shock-wave inducing punches because he has on some armor. I really hope this rumor isn't true.

armoured batsuit? I hope not but serves the story I don't see why we can't he use armoured one.

That's actually not enough. You need to turn him into an absolute idiot as well. Only the ultimate combination of Kryptonite and bad writing is strong enough to take Superman down.

I always figured that it would not be for fighting Superman, but later when they team up with WW and take on an opposing force. Like in Avengers or that DCU Online trailer. Never thought fighting Superman would be one-on-one...unless like in DKR where it was a double-suicide mission or the like.

I still don't like it. I dislike armor on bats for a couple reasons:

1) It looks silly and ruins some of his mystique
2) Writers use it as an excuse to let him do things he should not be able to do or survive. If they're going to have a human character, let him be human and have limitations. He can still take an active role in the big fight, it would just be a more strategic role.

I really liked how he was gone for a big chunk of time during the Justice League 3 parter pilot, while Martian Manhunter shielded him with his mind, Batman worked in the background to come up with a plan to cripple the aliens. No armored suit was required.

I think it can look quite cool, visually. And I always looked at it as a 'last resort'...an almost noble, 'knight-like' way to battle until he's gone. I think he'd still be strategic, but he'd still need more protection and power than normally. Just for the climactic battle.

I guess so. It's not what I prefer, but we'll see.

I think there are ways to make it fun.

That sounds like something I'd like. Bruce can use his brain in situations were he can't use his body.

I know I'm going to get hanged for saying this but I hope it's not blue and gray, I'm really hoping its more like the black and gray costumes from the New 52 and the Arkham games. Or if they do go with blue I ope its a very very very dark blue. Batman should always be wearing black.

I really don't want an armored batsuit - the only way it would be even remotely plausible is if he has Superman under Red Sun emittors and kryptonite on his person, with Lois also kidnapped in one location and Ma Kent in another and a bomb planted somewhere in the city.

I don't mind the normal suit being lightly armored, and a heavy suit is just another Bat gadget so that doesn't bother me either. I'd reservethe heavier one for a special occasion though. So far every movie Bats has been too bulky and movement restricting for my tastes. Even in begins (the best imo) you could tell Bale was having trouble turning his head and moving around. That's why I'm hoping for a fabric suit with lightly armored pieces incorporated in it somehow, or just pad the fabric and explain it as some kind of superior mesh.

I guess if we get an armored suit, it could potentially be completely CGI. So at least we'll still have a nimble Batman.

Eh, as long as he has a classic suit and uses the armored suit for a reason I don't have a problem with it. Actually it would make sense depending on who or what he is fighting against or alongside for that matter.

Uh, the prospect of an tank like armoured suit in the end of the film puts me off and doesn't have any logic whatsoever. Why wouldn't he wear that suit all the time to be more protected when he is fighting crime? And why stop there? Why not add jet boots to fly like Iron Man so he can evade Superman's attacks in a supposedly final fight between them? See, how the character gets changed like he is part of an extreme toy line and he gets cheapened . Batman is a Detective foremost. He searches for clues and strikes from the shadows. There is absolutely no reason to make him something more than that, so he can look edgier
