I've been thinking and I wonder if we have already seen what the emblem is going to look like? I mean in MOS we saw the "Keep calm and call Batman" poster and that had the oval emblem

Then a couple of months back, there was an article about HotWheels already working on the Batmobile for the movie toy line. It had a teaser image that looked like this. I understand that this is most likely a generic placeholder, but ya never know....

Ya, I definitely think that's the way they're going. It's more visually dramatic, badass, different than any other film incarnation and more like the comic. And it's perfectly suited to Ben.

hmm i dunno aye...Snyder has said (somewhere..) that the posters was put there by one of the post production guys or something and it was a surprise to him when he noticed it.

You definitely can't go by an in joke from the previous movie.

If anyone expects the emblem to be any different from that in the already released logo they'll probably be surprized to find that it isn't.

The only part of it we can't see is that tail part that is hidden by the bottom of the S shield.

I would wager it is. If it had just been the standard Batsymbol they had displayed then I would imagine it was subject to change, but it's an original design, as far as I can tell.

Me too. I really want a fitted cowl like this too. I'm so so so over the bobble head batman in the movies.

All these fan made cowls I've seen around are so much better then the ones professional costume designers in Hollywood come up with.

And whenever Hollywood directors or designers get asked about why they went in one direction or another (if it wasn't done well or liked) they always blame it on budget and people totally believe them. It's sad...
