Does anybody know where the Batman in this picture is from? I want to see the front of it.
Same. This practical thing went too far...While that art is nice, I really hate that batsuit.
That's awesome!By the way, here's a painting I did a couple of weeks ago.. I referenced a pose from DCU online, but drew Affleck's face before I put the cowl on it, and just kinda made up the bits of the suit as I was drawing it.![]()
So, people expect the batsuit to be CGI heavy?
If that's what it takes to make full capabilities of Batman's maneuverability on-screen, maintain his "look", and as long as it's not noticed (like MOS' CGI cape), I wouldn't mind at all.So, people expect the batsuit to be CGI heavy?

I was actually referring to portions of the cowl and the cape. But regardless, if in the final product we are oblivious to what's enhanced, what's the big deal? I'm more interested in whether they can get the most out of a live-action Batman.A CGI cape is one thing, but a CGI Batsuit? Hell no.
I'd hope that these professional costume designers with huge budgets could come up with a practical Batsuit that allows the actor to move with ease, as they did for Superman.

Well I'm sure Batman in his entirety will be 100% CG at times, but that's the nature of modern moviemaking. An occasionally CG cape falls into that category.
