I think they're gonna release it but it's not big deal cause We all know the suit and gonna be just few changes. On the other hand the batsuit and the Wonder Woman costume are the big News cause fans haven't seen them yet.

Here's my question. Why would they reveal both of those characters when filming hasn't even begun and the movie itself is over 2 -- yes, TWO -- full years away from being released?

I know everyone's dying to see the suit, but does this not seem premature to a certain extent? Especially in terms of building "buzz" for the movie over this long stretch of time. Seems like they'd be letting the cat out of the bag a bit too soon.

I think they must be really confident in the suits and figure it's about time to get some positive buzz going for this film and try to turn the tables a bit (if Mark is right that is).

Don't forget, the first picture of Superman came out in summer 2011, two years before the film came out.

I don't think we will see the suits anytime soon...we will see them right before filming which is in May.

I think that's much more likely and would honestly be better for the film anyway to get some positive buzz going right before the project really gets underway, when we'll likely start getting a steady trickle of news.

I'm happy with just seeing the batsuit for now I'd rather wait and anticipate Supes and WW costumes so we have something else to look forward to.

For them there'd be no reason except to beat paparazzi/spy photos to the punch....which is usually right around when filming starts and those sort of things would surface. It would be pretty premature to officially release anything now. I can't really imagining what would be pressuring them to do so.

I'm thinking they might be feeling pressured by a bunch of the negative hype about this movie, Eisenberg, Affleck, the delay. Maybe if they're super confident about how cool the suits look they're trying to generate some positive hype about the movie.

It doesn't really make sense to me either, even though I'd like to see images. Releasing official images this far from the release leaves too much room for any hype and excitement to die down again. Literally two years before release, by the time the movie comes around people will be so used to the images they'll just be like "meh" when they see them on screen.

Frankly, this 'negative hype' seems pretty harmless. It's not like people are picketing the studios, and it's to like people won't go to see a movie with Batman and Superman in it. So I can't see them not sticking to their guns unless something really disastrous happens. And still, we're far away anyway.

Yep, I mean movies have received tons of negative build-up before and it hasn't completely derailed them. One could argue that BvS is a different animal considering the CBM genre and its conventions, which might hold some weight. Overall though, I don't see them releasing official images for a while. Maybe just the suit, not Affleck in it, I don't see the point of giving away this much so far from release.
