Mainly fan stuff.

He has a alleged source in the BVS art department and he posted details about the Batsuit some time ago. Not long after Kevin Smith talked about the suit and having seen it himself.

He does create some really cool stuff... And is , apparently, friends with Jim Lee as well?

If you watch "Batman Returns" you can see the issue in the film.
The scene in the beginning of the film, when Batman ends up shooting the wall..
"Ha.. You missed". That scene.. Rewind it a little.. Watch when Batman drives up and opens the hatch and sticks his head out..
When the car is driving up? Batman.. He's ducking down .. Leaning forward in the Batmobile.. After the car stops, and the hatch opens? You can see him sit up straight.. The long-ear dilemma...

Short ears.. Frank Miller/ Muzzichelli design.. It is time...

I've always loved at the end of BR, when Batman opens the hatch on the ski-boat after crashing into Penguins duckcar thing... he's basically completely doubled over in that cockpit.

EDIT: I'd also like to point out that my post count is now 1978. All hail Superman: The Movie.

I think that the costume designers enthusiasm show me that he is ready.. And excited to show us... Must have something good for us?

Perhaps, it is WB that keeps putting on the brakes?

At least we have a good idea that they will start shooting soon, and that.. Most likely.. They will want to show us something good prior to that..
