Skintight fabric? It's rubber

Well all the little details they put on the suit are definitely telling me they want us to think it's skintight fabric. The taut creases here and there for example.

So what if it's made of rubber.

That would be ideal, but I can't attach any conditions or caveats to my enthusiasm for this. It is so vastly superior (on this evidence) to everything that has gone before, that anything less than applause seems inappropriate.

I'm with you on this. I personally don't have a single complaint right now. I actually think it's disrespectful to say this is reminiscient to the Batman Begins suit because this one is just so much better in literally every way...and this is coming from a guy who liked the BB suit for the most part.

The longer I look at the photo, the more I feel that this skintight fabric suit looks way more intimidating than the suit from TDK and TDKR. Very reminiscent of the BB suit's presence.

Seriously would not want to bump into the new Batman in a dark alley.

I agree. The suit of the last two movies wasnt intimidating, or batman-like at all.

I wonder if the cowl has lenses.

Yes it appears to be armor beneath cloth or whatever fabric that's supposed to be over it.

You can barely see the eyes.

Godalmighty what is it with people jumping the gun? You have one b&w still image, and all of a sudden people are 100% convinced he won't be able to turn his head and there for sure won't be any kind of lenses. It's way the hell to soon to say much of anything, people. get a grip.

I'm not saying that there is not supposed to be any armour under the costume, but I can see absolutely no evidence of that in this picture.

No way that's skin tight fabric, if it was Affleck would have to be in near contest bodybuilder condition, it looks like way too much muscle mass for him, much bigger and full than Cavill too.

There's obviously some subtle padding and rubber under the fabric and the wrinkles are to help with the illusion.

I'm with you on this. I personally don't have a single complaint right now. Which makes me mad we waited all these years to finally get it right.

Pectorals don't have an edge and you can see a slight curving crease at the arm pit.

Did I say it was skintight? Did I say there wasn't padding? It looks like a material similar to Cavill's outfit.
