Not surprising. Everyone has their own perfect version in their heads.

People have no concept of compensation. They see the way they want it in their head and if it doesn't come out a complete replica of that, they hate it. Fun fact of reality is that you'll never get EXACTLY what you envision of a CBM costume, never. The perfect costume doesn't exist that will please everyone. However, this one is pretty damn close to what I had envisioned. That's good enough for me. Anyone complaining I truly feel sorry for, because this is the Batman you're going to have to look at for years to come!

Are those afflecks abs or are they part of the suit?

Probably padded, although I wouldn't be surprised if he's bulked up.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! love the new Batsuit and love the new Batmobile.
I see a lot of people saying it looks like the Arkham Knight Batmobile but I disagree. To me it looks like a cross between the Tumbler and the Keaton Batmobile. Just Speechless, Well done Zack.... Well done

I've come to the conclusion that there will always be people unhappy with CBM costumes no matter how perfect I think they are.

All perfect adaptations of costumes, IMO. This one is about to join that list as soon as I see it in live action.

I think this is a more accurate and better looking Batman suit than the MOS is a Superman suit. My main issue with that is the texture, it looks too much like snakeskin to me, if they could tone it down a bit and let the actual colors show instead of dulling them I'd be fine. Also, hate the gauntlets. I'd get rid of the little gray lines areas or at least make them blue or navy. That's about it for me. Loved the symbol, loved the cape and how it went into the suit, and loved the boots....also liked the ellipsed belt buckle and that it was yellow. These are all things I hope they have left alone with the new suit.

I have no doubt Affleck's gonna be ripped though.

As I posted in another thread, John Campea of AMC Movie Talk just said he saw some leaked photos of Affleck during his workout routing or something and said he looks "yoked' and "beastly"

I'd kind of be disappointed if the symbol is the same color of the fabric and you only see the outline instead of the big black bat.

Exciting day for sure!

My quick thoughts;

-Love the cowl and cape
-The suit itself though is average at best for me. It looks think in the stomach, the bat symbol is my least favourite of all of the movie incarnations of batman
-anything below the belt (lol) looks off, however that seems to be the trend for many bat-movie suits
-the Batmobile looks a bit too close to the tumbler, was hoping for something different and sleaker

To be fair it is only one picture, and I reseve judgement until the color and more shots of the suit are available.

Well, my kneejerk reaction is "Well, that's definitely one big, fake, weird looking muscle suit."

I feel like they sort of did everything I wanted, but did it in a style I'm not sure I care for. More complete thoughts to follow later, when I'm not at work.

I thought Superman's muscle suit worked really well, so I'm not overly concerned. It may be an issue if Affleck's physique doesn't match up to it, the way Cavill's physique did with his.

The only thing I don't care for is the short ears, but I understand the choice.

Other than that, it's dope as ****.

Or it is blue... We even have a Batman comics colourist advancing that hypothesis now.

i wonder why both supes/batman have the texture going over the symbol. shouldnt it be a bit more diffrent from one to another?

I thought the BB suit made Bale look like a beast, and it did, but this Batman looks like he could swallow him whole. Brick *****house.
