My single complaint are the ears. I know that's how they are in Miller's suit and that's what they adapted, but that's the same problem I have with his suit too.

However, I am so bloody excited we have gone back to gray and black or possibly dark blue.

it appears once again, Batman can't turn his head.

p.s. I love Everything about this suit. Especially the ears!

Incredible. I think those of us knew Snyder would absolutely deliver on the Batsuit. It's essentially the Miller suit, but with Afflecks' Neal Adams esque proportions, so the Hush description is pretty on-point.

Is the utility belt black? I suggested this a while back and was shot down, but it makes sense, to break up the grey with the same pre-dominant color as the trunks before. (Similar to supes having a red belt now in the new 52)

"HE CAN'T MOVE HIS HEAD. I'M BASING THIS OF ONE PICTURE I'VE SEEN." lol internet, you so silly.

Zoom in on the neck and you'll see that he can turn his head.

I did and to me it appears to all be formed as one piece. Regardless of what material is used, as bulky and as thick as it appears, I don't believe it'll be easy to turn his head with out turning his shoulders.

I think the belt is gold/bronze looking. I don't think it is black. I could be wrong but it doesn't seem to match the cape or the emblem.

Somene photoshoped it as a Catman suit

It will be a cold day in hell before Snyder allows a batsuit where the actor cannot turn his head.

This looks great! I am a fan :). I also liked the Nolan suits, but nice to see something more inspired by the comicbook look.

As someone who was really behind the Nolan suits...

...I really like this suits design and texture. I'm presuming from both TDK's enhancements and the picture itself that he has neck mobility, and just judging from the way they worked the MOS Superman outfit, probably great physical mobility as well throughout the suit. The is clearly a sculpted musculature underneath it, but hopefully not enough to slow Affleck and others down. I like the beefy design and the short ears.

The only thing I'm really hoping they've kept hidden is some kind of eye-shine. To me, that, and not necessarily the color scheme, is the big completion to the image of comic Batman. Just use the computer to suggest he has some kind of contact lenses that he can switch on and off like in the Arkham games and we're set.

One solid piece, still able to turn his head.

This could be true yeah.

I hope the material isn't too similar to Cavill's 'Kryptonian' suit.

Also does he have white eye lenses?

And we know this... how? Exactly?
Multiple sources have said that the first suit they're showing is his traditional suit and he'll be wearing an Iron Man esque suit to battle Superman or whatever alien villains in BvS/JLA. Like the end of Returns, Kingdom Come, even a bit of Batman Beyond. A suit like that.

Which makes perfect sense because of A) the source material they're pulling from and B) Bruce won't survive a single hard punch to the chest with his regular suit, especially the one he's wearing here.

Not in this picture probably but that doesn't mean he won't have them at some point in the movie.

I'm sure you'd agree that this material doesn't look nearly as bulky...

...what does bulk have to do with it?

If the material allows him to turn his head then that's all that matters.

The eye hole is clearly defined, nothing is behind them, so we can assume we're not getting the lenses.

Why would we assume that? TDK's batsuit didn't have lenses in the majority of the movie but we still got them.
