lmao I can only imagine how horrible Wonder Woman's would be.
It took me a few centuries to find this, but here's an old Jim Lee sketch of Batman's costume with thin layers of kevlar armor underneath. I always liked that idea myself.

I'd love to see Wonder Woman pulling off a voice like Bale's Batman.
By searching "jim lee batman sketch under armor" in google images, I got that pic in 5 seconds.
I do like that idea, though. I don't think it's been done in a live-action cbm before.
I think that would be a nice change of pace.MAN OF STEEL played up Superman's alien heritage and science fiction elements.
I'd like to see them play up Batman's gothic, "creature" aspects and leave the overstylized techy armor behind.
*Ties the Lasso of Truth around a thug's throat*
"SWEAR TO ME!"
I don't think they even have to bring up the fact that he was some sort of protective armors under there unless they actually do something with it where it was needed. It's not like Batman gets hit all that much on film anyway.
I can imagine him getting beat up to the point where his outer suit might begin to rip and reveal parts of his armor underneath. It wouldn't even have to be touched on before that point, like you said. Just show the suit a little ripped and people will see the armor underneath then come to their own conclusions.
I don't want any on-the-nose explanations such as, "I wear this armor because..." or "This armor protects me from..." The audience will be able to see that on their own.

Maybe Supes could blast him with his heat vision tearing the outer suit and then Superman reveals later he knew he had the armour underneath.
It was one of the things that bothered me about the Nolan suits since they went out of their way to explain things, but it hardly was used. Like most of the time when we see him get hit, he either let it happen or wasn't awesome enough to avoid it like in the cartoons.
I can see it now...
Batman: Nice suit? Who's your tailor?
*Superman can't think of an awesome comeback*
Batman: Did your mommy make it for you?
Superman: Oh, you dun goofed now! Don't you ever talk about my momma!
*Superman hits him with heat vision and sends him flying into a gas station which then explodes and reveals the armor*
Superman: I was born with my powers and you don't have any. It hurts, doesn't it?!
That'll be the opening scene.
I stumbled upon this on Reddit, I'm not sure who made it. I think it looks pretty sweet, with a few modifications.

I love the large Bat symbol, the gauntlets, and the simplicity of the torso area. I'd be thrilled if the new batsuit was similar to this design. Kudos to whoever made it.
I'm really digging the huge batsymbol style, where it covers nearly the whole chest. It's a welcom departure from the tiny little, almost non existent symbol in the TDK(R) suit. I think it could also serve a purpose, I.E they could say the symbol plate offers more protection to his chest.
Something like the TDK Returns, which Snyder is a huge fan of.

its hard to see here but the Bat symbol is large.

wow your sketch is amazing, you're extremely talented and that suit design is something I would love to see!
LMAO, I see what you did there.
At least Superman's mom is alive, Batman.
