I can get that idea. I just really don't want either character to play the Tony Stark/Captain America card. On the fight thread I mentioned I wouldn't mind the two fighting over an objective beyond killing each other, and I'd probably find that entertaining.

I just don't think the DKR monologue really fits Batman and Superman if they're both heroic. Miller got by with his version thanks to alternate reality, but I'd prefer Timm's version of their antagonism.

Bruce should just bone Lois. That would set it off.

Great draftsmanship- did you draw it? If so, which fabrics/materials do you envision being used?

I'm not keen on the insufficiently anthropomorphic mask. It's a clever design, but it just doesn't look like Batman to me.

Regarding Superman's lack of briefs. Snyder didn't "want" them, but he wasn't against using them. He's even said there were 1000s of designs done, some with them some without, he made the smart decision to ditch them.
Nolan had no say on the costumes whatsoever.

I did it's one of several different designs ive created. I always imagine a more animal like appearance. In the dark knight trilogy the cape was silk flock with tiny hairs. I imagine an under armor, with the entire suit flocked with tiny hairs. Giving it the look of a giant batman and not so much a power ranger. This isn't my favorite design but i threw it in for fun.

I like the demonic ears and the animalistic feel of the cape. Remind me of his original appearance. I love the belt symbol also. But I am not crazy about the body amour with all those lines. I prefer a more fabric like approach.

There's a Batman vs. Deadpool video with a Arkham video game-like suit. Can't post it here due to language.

I wouldn't mind seeing something along the lines of snake eyes in the gi joe films. That type of thickness and shape. I also hope batman fights like him in the movie as well.

I found this image a few months ago on another thread and I think it would be the ideal choice for the man of steel/batman movie

The Arkham suit only has two problems IMO:
-boots and gauntlets are too big and too bulky
-the trunks (not a problem in the game but they don't work too well on the big screen especially in this particular upcoming version of Batman, since Superman doesn't wear trunks in this universe).

I would also make the belt black to provide that "break" in colors that the trunks is responsible for in comics and animation.

I disagree about the trunks, but the rest about the boots and gaunlets, I concur. That's the main thing that bugs me about zthe Arkham suits, and the fact that Bats himself is a bit bulky as well. Someone posted some pics of an Arkham suit that someone had made, the boots and gauntlets were still too big, but the proportions of the rest of the suit having been made to fit a real person looked much better.

When it comes to armor in a confrontation with Kal-El, I'm sure Batman would rather leave home with it than without it.

Again, why would Superman deliberately try to murder Batman?

No armour is thick enough to withstand a determined assault from Superman. We have seen him hold up oil rigs. Even if Batman devised some impermeable material, the force of one of Superman's punches would shatter his skeleton and rupture his organs.

Superman, unless he is crazed and murderous, would only hit Batman with the precise level of force needed to incapacitate him. If he is wearing a bulky suit of ugly armour, then Superman would just hit him slightly harder. So, what's the point?

Because it's "cool."

lol. What is even cooler though is this brilliant trend coming from the wacko Frank Miller, ridiculing Superman in favor of Batman and getting beaten and treated like a lifeless puppet of the government :whatever:
