That isn't really a fair reading of TDKReturns. Sure, Batman got the upper hand on Superman, but that was using green K, and instantly followed by a heart attack. The context was that Batman had to devote a lifetime of resources into gaining that one small moment of triumph- and this in a Batman story! Superman was hardly ridiculed, even if his motives were out of character.

And, in any case, the upcoming movie may follow a very different route.

Again, why would Superman try to murder Batman? And if he did, what difference would some kevlar make?

Let's see, high tech armor vs no armor, yeah I'm going to go with armor. Batman as more than just Kevlar at his disposal., his equipment is much more advanced. We don't know what situations might arise, and neither does Bruce, so he would be prepared for anything. Maybe Superman is mind controlled, maybe he is being manipulated, we don't know.

Yup, armor would be totally irrelevant if Superman were bound and determined to kill Batman, and Batman would know this and would rely on his street smarts instead of useless armor. There isn't an armor in the world that prevent Supes from destroying a human, the only thing that would do that would be Superman's own conscience.

I hate the puzzle-piece look. We need a new suit that is more streamlined and doesn't resemble the Nolan suit.

I think they'll definitely go with the same style cowl (not attached to the neck). It gives the actor a lot more freedom/movement.

But even if it is made out of Kryptonite then what's the point of them getting in a fight? As soon as he would get near Batman and his K armor, he would feel sick and fall into the ground before a punch is thrown. And then what? Bruce will be beating him like Lex in SR? Not interested in that.

Personally as much as I would love a fabric suit like the comics, I am afraid they will go the heavy armor route, especially since he will be older and obviously he will need extra protection from bullets and fights.

Please no more rubber armor suits. If Jason Bourne, James Bond, Indiana Jones, and host of other action heroes can escape death by gun fire, knives, bombs, etc then so can Batman.

It's a longshot, but I'm hoping for something that looks like the current comics suit, in a spandex/type fabric like Superman's costume or the current Spider-Man costume.

Heat vision. Also, why are we so sure there's going to be a fight? And armor is just going to restrict Batman's movement without offering much protection against Superman.

Yea that's what I was wondering to, I think it's gonna be more akin to Gordon and Batman in the beginning....I think it will just be words exchanged and maybe Supes or Bats getting to the Danger before each other

Well, Superman was beaten pretty hard and his suit was fine. So Bruce Wayne is going to spend a fortune buying and altering Zod's suit into the batsuit.

Light (I assume), bulletproof, black - add a cowl, cape and batsign, job done.

they should go with this. but change the collar/shoulder armor. it looks too kryptonian. and i'm pretty sure based off of what WB has been saying about batman being in his late 30's early 40's he 's been doing this far before clark even knew what he was.
