Exactly. Armor would be irrelevant in any fight where Superman would be looking to defeat Batman, which is also why I don't think that's how this movie will pan out anyway, Despite Snyder (or whoever it was) calling it Batman VS, Superman, (a temporary title at best) I really think , if they have any kind if physical confrontation at all, it will be a minor one with no clear winner, and not the focus of the movie).

Not if Superman holds back as I suspect is exactly what would happen. Batman does NOT NEED armor in any conflict with Superman, as the fight would not be to the death anyway. They may very well have Superman win, but it won't be thru him killing Batman, or even putting him in the hospital.

Well, regardless of who called it that, I really doubt it's the final title and I have my doubts a physical fight between Bats and Supes will be the focus of the movie or even a major part at all. People are focusing way too much on the VS.

Some people seem to be forgetting odds are Batman would be going against Superman's foes as well, which mostly would require armor.

And I don't believe any of this mindset that Superman would hold back, because then it would just make whatever fight they have pointless.

The only playing field levellers are Kryptonite and red sun radiation.

Then you could bring in some armour, until then, the armour is ineffectual.

has a lasting effect on him, vowing never to kill again, I could see him being hesitant in battle with Batman, especially if Batman is established and some see him as Hero rather than vigilante.

It will be deeper confrontation or battle.

Batman is the urban legend of gotham... is he good, is he bad? Man, animal, both?

It will be a comparison - an alien that has been in hiding, then appears and is involved in distruction of a grand scale. This alien then asks for 'forgiveness and acceptance' - the people will be like, well, look at gotham, a mere man has been fighting crime for years and never gone public asking for acceptance etc.

Also, not only will people be divided, by so will political figures and influential business men. Bruce and lex could team up, to politically create an agenda, that brings it all together - but lex has motives that Bruce disagrees with.

Superman could think Batman is after him and vice versa and more of a game of cat and mouse. Batman could easily lure superman into a trap, once he is there, interogate him - suddenly a false flag goes off, where they both need to assist - this is where they team up against an army created by lex, fuelled on kryptonite.

Yes, I like those. I'm not sure the segmentation on Batman's suit is quite right, but if it represents thicker fabric over thin, then it is almost perfect.

But if he didn't hold back, Superman would kill him. I don't care how strong of Earth armor Bruce is able to find, there's no way it would still protect him if Superman wasn't holding back. Especially the Superman we saw in this film. That Superman fighting Zod would easily kill Batman.

Quite possibly, Bruce could find Zod's Kryptonian armor and manufacture something to fit him more. But the question is, was Zod's Kryptonian armor any different or superior to hold off Superman's punches?

I don't care for all those seams on Batman's suit and boots, but overall, I very much like the design. (Red) Robin looks wonderful as well.
