"Check his wallet."

That is the single funniest line in that film.

It's just not possible to pull of such visually striking, epic cinematography shots like this with a clunky rubber suit. The most we got from the TDK suit was him standing in rubble.

Yes. That's why I want a GREY Batsuit as the base, with some black. Going into the shadows from the light is more striking when one isn't used to seeing him surrounded by black.

I don't want the oval symbol. And I'm cool with the new symbol, but I wish it would be tweaked, its not perfect. The best bat suit symbol was on the BB suit.

Seriously if we don't get a grey and black suit this time around I'm going to be pissed, this is the perfect opportunity to give a straight comics adaptation of Batman. And Snyder is the perfect guy to do it

Ok, so, during my lunch today, I decided to try sketching up a batsuit that both accommodates the majority of peoples concerns, Snyder's style, and what we already know (aka the bat logo...as "confirmed" as that is, haha) Now, granted, it's literally impossible to please everybody (You can't have short AND long ears. Deal with medium.) The suit, in my mind, is like the Arkham suit--thick cloth on top of armor. And yes, before anyone says it, the cape does drag on the ground. I know this is impractical (having a cape at all is pretty impractical) but I love the way the really long cape looks. So...there's that. Hope you guys dig it. I quite like it, especially for a 15 minute sketch I did with a piece of pizza in my mouth.

Wouldn't be surprised to see something more akin to this, not that I like it, just wouldn't be surprised.

I'd change the color scheme and a few other things, but this is a decent armor over mesh style.

The legs look immobile, to me. If that used the same rubber stuff as B89-TDKR, then it would buckle and look stupid, as well as impeding the actor from doing much leaping or kicking.

Oh I prefer the oval as well.

I should really go back to trying to manip my vision for batsuit again.

I used to prefer the oval, but the oval owes me money, soooo...

I loved the suit in BB. TDK and rises not so much..It was too busy for me.
I'm hoping for one thats more smooth, without all the lines. if that makes sense.
And to be fair, i'm not crazy about all the lines on the side and back of cavill's suit either, but it least that was hid by the cape ( mostly)

In a sense that is a good solution, but I am personally against Batman being invulnerable in his suit, anyway. I just don't think that is what is "cool" about Batman. His intrigue as a (non)superhero is the fact that he uses his prime mental and physical conditioning to accomplish feats that only a (real)superhero otherwise could. Killing the lights, throwing in smoke bombs, moving silently through gunfire to erupt from the darkness and crush his prey with a swift, silent movement...that's what's "cool" about Batman. I have no interest in seeing him play with the invincibility cheat on.

I may be missing something, but in the context of the film, all we know is the suits themselves can withstand damage while being worn by the Kryptonians, not how much energy is being tranferred through them to the wearer. So how do we know that a human would be invulnerable wearing one? Any flexible material, no matter how durable, only offers up so much protection. Like people wearing kevlar can still have broken ribs and damaged organs.

All it might be good for on a human is protection from penetrating wounds, abrasions and extreme temperatures (fire), which are already staples of most comic batsuits. He'd still be vulnerable to blunt force trauma and crush injuries without a plate armor or exo-skeleton type suit.

Really I'm not even sure if visually I'd want Bruce wearing an actual Kryptonian suit, but it would make sense he'd want to get his hands on one to study and learn from, what scientist wouldn't?

Also, even the Kryptonian suits used armor on them; Superman was the obvious exception, but all the other Kryptonians were using Kryptonian armor as well.

I say armor underneath!

Well, to be honest I'm sick to death of rubber suits, but I fear that's what we'll be getting since it's a proven commodity for Batman movies and studios are fearful creatures.

The comic explanation is kryptonians have an aura that protects anything inside it, hence suit stays maintained and capes generally damaged, not sure of the movies internal logic regarding the suits.

Uh, I don't get this whole Batman getting Zod's costume and slap a bat symbol in there and call it his costume. To me this screams lame.

I guess I am one of those romantic nostalgics of Classic literature heroes like the Zorro, Sherlock Holmes, the Shadow, the Spirit etc who wear simple costumes and count on their detective skills and thrill for adventure and social justice to save ordinary people. And that might be the reason why I am not that much interested in super hero movies these days. Everything has to be so over the top with cgi coolness all over and heavy action scenes.

In the end any armor in his costume will only demystify him and take away the magic and the charm this character has.
Watchman I also didn't get and was bothered how the science behind the kryptonian suits in MOS worked exactly.

I kind of want to see someone do a costume with an unlit oval on silver or gray. I think the idea of him turning it on for extra intimidation factor would be cool, but I just don't think any of the other symbols have the power of the oval.

Among other magnificent things like his delicious backside. :(

Do you think they will go armored in in this next film? I'm guessing they will have to, to stand any chance of a fight with Supes being credible.
