I wonder if it'll be mostly metal/armour (like the New52), or some sort of heavy duty fabric (Cavill's Superman suit).

I have a lot of confidence that Snyder and his costume designer are going to come up with a great Batman suit after seeing Superman's and Night Owls costumes. One thing i really loved about Night Owls suit is when he takes his mask off, he just pulls it back and it's hanging down like a hood. It's easier then the Previous Batman cowls..

It'd be very interesting if they gave us a blue and gray suit. I'm not for it since I've yet to see it work in live action, but I'd keep an open mind.

It might be the kind of thing that looks bad in set photos but great on screen.

It's clear enough that you don't know what you're talking about. The grey and black suit features in all current comics, cartoons and media featuring Batman; it is featured in the videogames that all the kids seem to be so crazy about at the moment.

The all black suit, however, is a throwback to the 1980s/early 90s, and has looked outdated for at least ten years.

Just please, please, please, can we finally get rid of the immobile rubber suits even the redesigned suit in the dark knight didn't solve the problem of barely being able to move in it, I want to see Batman being able to run and move and kicking ass without the suit fighting against his every movement

As much as all of the old school fans finally want to see the blue/grey suit on screen I really don't see that happening, maybe the darker black/grey but that's it. Just look at how dark Supes suit is in MOS, you think they would go lighter with Batman? I highly doubt it

The difference is, Superman is a very colorful character. Batman isn't.

We are getting a new Batman, so we are getting a new Batsuit and this will be Snyder's batsuit

Here's how they should go/might go

COWL - Keep it functional so that the neck can be moved 180 degrees from left to right. It should highlight and complement the lantern jaw of the actor playing Batman.

MATERIAL - Not the rubber that they used in the Nolan films where the suit was basically rubber pads stuck onto each other

COLOR SCHEME - I think they will go with full black or greyish black. Snyder went with a dark blue with Superman so might go with full black for Batman

BAT SYMBOL - they have already shown their Bat Symbol but I think it might just be a stunt they pulled at Comic Con and not the actual Bat Symbol that they will use

BODY FIT - This would be Snyder's Batman so obviously the suit will be form fitting. We will very likely see muscle definition through the suit like showing pecs and abs like Cavill does in the Superman suit. It won't be flat appearance but a very sculpted look. Very comic booky.

TEXTURE - Don't know about this. The Superman suit has a chainmail texture so that when he catches the light, it makes it look like he's made of steel but that goes for Superman, they might go for a different texture for Batman.

CAPE - Jet black and long and flowing, giving a empowering, grandiose appearance.

What do you guys have in mind? How will be Snyder's Batsuit?

At the very least I'd like to see this colour grey (gun metal?)

Yeah. That thing looks like it weighs 30-40 pounds by itself. We don't want our Batman slowed down.

Even though this is absolutely positively not going to happen a big part of me wishes that they would go with the Black/Grey spandex Alex Ross look. Sans the underwear of course.

If this got streamlined a bit, this would be excellent.

Honestly, I'm all for some type of gray tech suit for Batman in this new universe because I can't imagine a Batman going up against Snyder's Superman with just a regular suit. It's got to be some type of tech suit for me to possibly buy it.

I read somewhere that WB was planning an Arkham animation movie but they scrapped it and combined Batman and Superman together. The suit according to them will be modeled after the Arkham Origins one coming up.

the whole Origins suit is pretty BA to me. Either go with that one or Injustice. I also read WB was probably going to do a JLA from the new 52 so that means no MMH but would include Cyborg. So maybe since Superman has no tights, Batman will be have the new 52 suit in MOS2

I think that whole story is entirely bogus. It has not been officially reported from a credible source anywhere.

My problem with this is it will look hilarious on a real person. First they would need the most muscly person ever, then they would have to glue the spandex into the muscles. There is a fan-film out there where the Batman is wearing the costume from Hush, and the problem was it is still cloth.

Arkham Origins suit w/o underpants and less bulky. The aesthetics are good, just not exactly the proportions. The new Batman needs to be a beast, a lot more along the lines of intimidating Batman. Bale and TDKT has cemented the realistic version of Batman's mythos, it's time to have a more intimidating and physically jacked interpretation to keep up with Supes.
