The eyebrow debate is totally deserving of that Always Sunny in Philadelphia Charlie meme. Unfortunately I don't care enough about that show to post the image.

That's an interesting ad, but the jury's still out for me. Here are various pix of David in bright lighting prior to his casting.

And that's not even under strong lighting. By comparison, check out Rachel's eyebrows from the same pic keeping in mind that Rachel and David's hair have similar tones.

So for me, eyebrow gate continues and most likely will until we see the movie.

After searching through photos of Corenswet I have come to one simple conclusion...

The man has magic eyebrows.

I can’t believe I’ve lived this long as a DC superhero fan (who watched Super Friends as a kid) and I didn’t know the Hall of Justice was based on a real building. I’ve never been to Cincy but now I need to go just to see that terminal.

Why? He’s not got the classical look, but he’s a pretty strong, charismatic, gentle, empathetic, and unselfconscious actor. I think he would’ve done well with the character if not 1-to-1 on the look.

I can’t believe I’ve lived this long as a DC superhero fan (who watched Super Friends as a kid) and I didn’t know the Hall of Justice was based on a real building. I’ve never been to Cincy but now I need to go just to see that terminal.

Same. Fun fact: The background artist who is credited with the design reportedly only intended to use the terminal as a basis for the Hall of Justice, but Hanna-Barbara essentially forced him to create an almost exact replica. He also said that the way it was constructed made it very challenging to draw, so much so that it gave him nightmares.

Yeah sorry, #Eyebrowgate lives. They did something to those brows. It may purely be a make-up technique, and I’ve always said that could be it, but it’s definitely something nonetheless. These are simply not the brows he had before being cast in this role.




I’m just extremely grateful they darken them when he’s Supes so he doesn’t look this weird. That’s the only thing that had me worried for a hot minute.





Whether it’s just some kind of shaping technique or plot-related, he looks perfect as Supes, which is all that matters imo.

Henry has people obsessed with his hairline. Tyler has people obsessed with his facial hair. And now, David had people obsessed with his eyebrows.

I wonder what body hair people will be obsessed with when they cast the next live-action Superman.
