I don’t tweet or post on Threads, and if I did, it wouldn’t be to bug filmmakers with stupid nerd questions about movies they’re in the process of making that we’ll have answers to eventually.

I also wouldn’t take anything Gunn said at face value anyway, so it would be pointless.

Meh, I KNOW the eyebrows were dyed/lightened. It’s like y’all forget that I’m the girl that’s been obsessing over this guy becoming Superman for the last 5 years. I’ve seen him in more things, seen more pics (candid and professional; well-lit and less so) of him, than just about anybody on this board. And literally the FIRST image of him I saw from this set (Rachel’s video from her trailer), I said, “he looks weird. Why does he look weird. What’s with his eyebrows.” And that pic Gunn released on Superman Day more than confirmed it for me: the eyebrows were definitely changed. That’s not even a question in my mind. I know it’s a question for y’all, but it’s not for me. The question, for me, has always simply been, “why”? And that will 100% be answered in the film. It’s either a shaping/make-up technique, or it’s plot-related. I’ll know next year.

I wonder what body hair people will be obsessed with when they cast the next live-action Superman.
