I'm sure it had leaked somewhere already, but I had no idea Krypto was in. I thought Gunn himself debunked that at some point.

But I love it, lol. I wonder if it'll actually be an alien dog or a science experiment.

IIRC, he debunked the news he had cast someone who would be Krypto's voice.

The way Gunn is explaining it, his Krypto could have New52 vibes to him, who was a great guard dog. He may look little and scruffy, but could have a nice bite to him and be a little menace lol.

Kind of feel like that image of Superman and Krypto should have been the first suit pic reveal. You don't see the front side of the suit but the image definitely sets a certain hopeful optimistic vibe that the 1st picture failed to do. Also, loving the S on the cape. And Krypto's super cute too. Little surprised he's an alien dog. I figured they would go the lab experiment route. Weren't there set pics of Mr. Terrific at a pet store? Though that might have something to do with Krypto. Anyways, I like the new image. It already sets it apart from Snyder's "lonely alien" tone he was going for with Cavill's Clark. So this is a refreshing change.

Yeah. I just think the Krypto image would have served as a better first look and teaser. You don't see the full costume so it's just a tease and gives you a taste. And the whole image sets a certain vibe or tone. But even so, I'm sure certain segments of the Snyder fan base would have still found something to ***** about lol.

As much as I like the scruffy look of Krypto, the back shot of Superman and that cape really pop!!!! You can see that the custom fits different after the leaked photos that people were complaining about.

Eh, with a war in Ukraine and a genocide in Ghaza both happening right now and both of which could spill into a nuclear war (we're closer now than we were during the Cuban missile crisis!!!) I'm not sure I'd call this a great time to be alive but by God it's an ideal time to have an uplifting Superman movie.

How about...for like 10 minutes...we just not focus on the bad things happening in the world and just enjoy the heck out of something. Guess what, the reaction to this picture is not going to change any of the things you brought up so how about we just take a breathe and leave the outside world outside and just all let our anxieties settle and we just be happy there is something wholesome we can all agree is wonderful.

*takes a deep, DEEP breath* Sorry bud, I lived through war as a kid and as an adult I was part of the medicins sans limite for a wee while so it's hard for me to...... turn it off sometimes but you're right it's a good time to be a Superman fan. My Adventures with Superman is quite lovely and seeing today's pic with Krypto sure does lift up the spirit. Now all that's missing is a good Superman game news and we're in business.

Hard to say. The features do look vaguely “Moon-like.” And since the Xtweet was accompanied by a similar comic book image (which is definitely the Moon) we might surmise likewise for the movie image. If so, the apparent size of the Earth is highly exaggerated. The famous lunar orbit “Earthrise” photo from Apollo 8 is a more accurate representation.

And in other Apollo photos taken on the lunar surface, the Earth appears even smaller.

But as far as technical errors go, making Earth too large is arguably forgivable. More problematic, from a science nerd perspective, would be Supes chatting with his pooch in the vacuum of space.
