Its literally not...but I am sure that weird dude in his basement you watched on youtube and who has never even been to Hollywood let alone having sources there knows better than **checks notes** EVERYONE WHO ACTUALLY HAS ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THE FILM! :o
James Gunn has talked about eventual pick ups and minor reshoots (see my previous post), but people don't bother reading or don't know how to read anymore.

I don't know why everyone panics at the idea of re-shoots. It's a normal practice in the industry. It only gets worrisome if the re-shoots are suspiciously long.
People should take a look at the Shazam deleted and alternate scenes with David F. Sandberg's commentary, to find out some of the scenes were replaced by reshoots. ANd what's in the movie, from the reshoots, works much better than what they had originally filmed.

It's always a matter of the WHAT, WHY and HOW.

But nuance is out of fashion.

I do not know why people get so bent out of shape over what Sneider has to say.

I have no doubt he has his sources, but he clearly posts and speaks in a way to get a reaction based on what he thinks what drum up the most interest for him or based on what slights he perceives against him. The guy is a definition of a *****e when it comes to his delivery and overall demeanor.

There's a reason why he is a regular on a show called The Hot Mic, which it's led by another drama filled movie pundit. Jeff is his own worst enemy.

Sneider said last night after he published his newsletter his “best source” reached out to him to tell him that his positive story on Superman was wrong and that the film is “terrible” and WBD execs are concerned.
Jeff Sneider also knows the meaning of life and should be worshipped as a god. And you are his prophet. :o

Not going to lie. I love Harrison Ford, but I'm sure not everyone will agree that he's the best actor, at least not in every film he does. I watched Patriot Games, but I don't remember him having that much range in his performance. And there were a couple of other films too. I'm not concluding that Harrison Ford isn't a good actor. I think he is good, but in some movies, he sometimes looks self conscious or motionless. While Han Solo isn't my favorite Star Wars character, his performance as Solo was solid and seemed very different from his actual self. I didn't see Harrison in the role when he was playing Han Solo. Same with Indiana Jones. I love him as Indiana and I was not even that self conscious of Indy being played by Harrison.

Couldn't picture Ford as Superman, but he has some every-man qualities that Superman has. I don't think ti could be that bad of an idea to take some inspiration from Ford.

I feel like Ford is a great leading man. He’s just not a character actor. He has some decent range but when you think about his most iconic roles (Indy and Han) there’s not much difference there. And that’s fine. The movies themselves are different enough and Ford is so charismatic that everything just works (in the first three movies of each series at least).

Jack Ryan is probably #3 on the list of his most iconic roles, and Ryan feels quite a bit different than the other two. Part of that is the character but I also think part of it was Ford being a bit older than when he played the other characters and working that age somewhat into the role. But his personality as Ryan somewhat carried over into films like Air Force One and The Devil’s Own.

All that is to say that you don’t necessarily have to have incredible range to be a good lead. Sometimes you just need the right balance of charisma and skill.

Love this nerd lol.

David gets it and is un-phased. Good signs to have a lead man that is mentally tough, because CBM fandom and fans as a whole aren't as moral as the source material they read or watch indicate.

We all know he's been preparing for Superman since 2018/2019 or probably in the back of the mind his entire young career. He was always going to be next in line. Dude is the epitome of the Superman mold/formula.

He mentioned how returning for sequels is not always a guarantee or what-not. I wish these things would be kept in house and not in the junkets givin' DC's recent track record with the audience. Got to be careful there. That didn't make me feel warm and fuzzy going into a brand new face for the character before marketing kicking off.
