if we going to Arnold Nepo, I prefer we use the one who actually looks like him. The one they shun away from all the family gatherings and stuff.
Hugo?

CinemaCon’s WB presentation on April 1st, followed by Minecraft that Friday.
Exactly. I could've posted the exact same thing based on common sense and become the new hot online scooper on social media lol

Again, it's all over the internet news about the film and small reshoots are happening. I sincerely am wondering why, not being negative.

Every single big budget Hollywood movie has reshoots! Every. Single. one. However not all reshoots are created equally, there are the obligatory 'marvel type' scheduled reshoots that usually go on for 2-3 weeks and are preplanned and included in the director's and the actors' contracts and there are the World War Z, Rogue one, Captain America 4 types of reshoots, which practically remake the entire movie.
A make or break Superman movie not having any reshoots would be an outlier even for someone like James Gunn who is known for doing very little reshoots on his movies.

I personally don't take any test screening reviews seriously, whether bad or good. Why? For several reasons: first of all the test audiences are always made to sign NDAs forbidding them from talking about the movie and if there is indeed something really awful within the movie that causes a lot of the test audiences to complain about, that very thing will be taken out and so you -the audience member who sees the final cut of the movie in the theatres - will never realize that it was there in the first place.
The second reason is that based on previous history most of the test screenings reports turned out to be unrealiable or false. For example, we all remember how BVS got a 'standing ovation' from WB execs causing them to announce that 'Marvel is done for'. I also remember very well how there were reports that Wonder woman (the first one) was awful and that Patty Jenkins was out of her depth.
The third reason is that even if the test screening reports are true, the setting and the type of audiences present in said screening makes the whole thing unrealiable. For example El mayembe reported back in 2013 that a family and friends test screening for MOS took place (about a month and half before the movie's release I think) and that it was the 'movie to beat this summer'. Well guess what that report was 100% accurate but the final product wasn't exactly the movie of the summer (definitely was the most divisive movie of the summer) because the test audiences were 'family and friends' who were invested in the movie's quality and were hardly representative of the overall audience.
Lastly, regarding specifically these reports coming out about Superman, you have to remember that they are mostly coming from one source, Jeff Snieder, who has publicly stated his discontent for not having been invited to the trailer press screening, that puts a big Riddler sized question mark on the veracity of the report and even if Snieder's source is legit, who is to say that it was his 'source' that thought the movie is terrible or it's the test audience he was with that thought so.

Cutting a very long story short, don't believe any, and I mean ANY test screening reports, wait for legit reports and those might be coming in late June if WB is confident about the movie.

Thank you for this...Valuable insight!

I'd like to think a writers strike or just doing re-shoots is a good opportunity to improve the film if necessary. So some screenings were confirmed, but were any of the reactions legitimate or still considered just a rumor? I've been away for a few days focusing on work.

Since 2012 I think, I have seen a hodgepodge of exploding rumors or first screening reactions that were fake. I remember one reaction to The Dark Knight Rises before it came out that turned out to be totally false. I used to see a minimum of these rumors, but since that year I think I've seen way too many, so as of now, I only take everything with a grain of salt.

Unrelated, but I'm kind of glad I didn't pay attention to any of the rumored cameos for Deadpool and Wolverine before it came out. I only saw so many rumors about Daredevil, Elektra, Channing Tatum's Gambit, Fantastic Four and so on, but I hardly paid attention. It was nice to be surprised by them for the first time.

test screenings from heroic.com is stating this movie is not good. I highly doubt that. I'm ignoring all of it

I think that anyone who's looking for actual news and reports and doesn't wanna waste their time, should just stick to the trades: that is The Hollywood Reporter, Variety and Deadline.

I know that scoopers occasionally get things right, but you gotta weed those out from a lot of clickbait and drama to sell their online brand daily and get as much engagement as possible. And in the end, it's always up to the trades to confirm their scoops anyway.

So stick to the trades.

Not sure where to put this, but at this moment, the DC YouTube channel was hacked...and now it's just gone!

Am sure it'll be back up at some point, but as I type this, the link leads to a 'Not available' channel.

Oh. This sucks.

Why has my first thought gone to the Snyder cult?

Rent free in your mind, perhaps? I think the hardcore cult members and those who dislike them have some secret love for one another, honestly since they can't stop thinking about each other. :D

But as for what happened, it was apparently done by some Korean middle schooler.

No, actually. I almost never think about them. Except for instances like this.

Thought I'd try to to get rid of some of the wrinkles and bulk him up a bit in sections to make it look more form fitting. Probably absolute crap, but thought I'd share.

Gunn and David already explained the suit. They don’t want Superman in a muscle suit. It seems to me that people who have a problem with the suit want Superman to look like a cartoon/anime character in live action. The suit is fine the way it is.
