Well the poster looks good, but the real hype for me is the music. Unmistakably the Williams theme, but softer. If they are using the Williams theme, then I will forgive them for the S.

I wonder if this bit of score is a misdirect for the trailer. Where it starts out with serious footage set to this music and then we get a hard cut to something else that changes the tone, as if to **** with our expectations.

I have to say, in my honest opinion, this is probably the best superhero film poster I've ever seen, maybe even the best film poster period. Definitely top 3.

It's less of a departure than Gunn's S. It looks like a stop sign, the 89 symbol is still instantly recognizable as Batman.

Sweet poster, reminds me of Star Trek Beyond. But I'd really prefer it if they didn't use the Williams theme, and if they're gonna, then very selectively. Superman & Lois came up with a strong Superman theme that pulled off the tough task of not sounding like either Williams or Zimmer... I'm sure a 200M movie can too.

I'll now be spending the day refreshing Twitter for first impressions.

Sweet poster, reminds me of Star Trek Beyond. But I'd really prefer it if they didn't use the Williams theme, and if they're gonna, then very selectively. Superman & Lois came up with a strong Superman theme that pulled off the tough task of not sounding like either Williams or Zimmer... I'm sure a 200M movie can too.

I don't even like the Williams theme (not a huge Donnerverse fan in general). If you told me yesterday that the theme would be a recreation of it, I'd have expected to be dissappointed.

And yet... I love it Its just subtle enough to not irk me, while being close enough to honour the legacy. It sounds ethereal and classy. I've been listening to it on repeat for a while and it just gets better and better.

Part of me wonders if the Williams theme is more of a “Giacchino sneaks in the 60s Spider-Man theme” moment for this film than the actual theme itself.
