The compression is rough on the video, but that Daily Planet shot is very promising for the patina and feel Gunn is giving to this take!
I like how subtly colorful thing look through the clothes and props (green benches, blue seats, etc.). You can tell there's an actual proposition visually speaking.
Also, it's very quick, but the way the hair moves in the wind in this shot on Superman's back is perfect.

A good little amuse-bouche before tomorrow!

James Gunn might have just done the impossible. Make Superman's flight like something we have never seen before. Very reminiscent of the Superman the Movie you will believe a man can fly line. I thought one of the best things about Man of Steel was his first flight but this looks like something we have never seen before. Wow!!! Just Wow!!!! The music is absolutely incredible……..

I love that the Daily Planet has the globe on top and the first shot is of the staff there. I think based on what we have seen, if he can nail that dynamic we have a winner.

You're not alone. Between the use of Williams' theme and the font use, I think it legitimately sucks they're not disassociating it at every turn from 1978. I have no problem with 1978, but it's well past time to move on.

It has a cheap, TV show look to it. Maybe it's the aspect ratio. The crowd shots look off.

Say what you want about ZS, but his films had an incredibly cinematic look to them.

The impact of beautiful images doesn’t go very far when the emotional core of their story is about as hollow and empty as the chemistry between your two lead actors

And there wasn’t nearly enough beautiful imagery in those films to make up for its story related deficiencies

I... sort of agree. That shot with the Daily Planet crew looks really really good IMO, very similar to The Suicide Squad, which I think looks really good. But yeah, the shots with the extras don't look all that great. But it's a teaser to a teaser, so I'll wait and see. Overall I think this is hitting the right notes

If you don't know where the contrast in this shot is, you'd be better off just not talking about such stuff.

A simply "I don't like how it looks" would've done you plenty of favors. Because if we're talking contrast, even the sunny ext. crowd shots have PLENTY OF CONTRAST. So maybe use fitting words for your criticism in the future.
