I think that's Lex and co. breaking into the Fortress.
Gunn debunked that himself months ago.![]()
'Genesis' production crew creating fictitious businesses in Public Square for upcoming filming
Blue, one of Superman's signature colors and signage, now advertises an appliance, TV and gaming equipment store at 75 Public Square, a luxury apartment building next door to Old Stone Church.www.news5cleveland.com
Budget at this moment is $363 million according to Cleveland news article. That’s.. a lot
It seems you may be right. I'm really liking his design though.I think that's Metamorpho.
Which teaser was your favorite?
SUPERMAN RETURNS (2006)
MAN OF STEEL (2013)
SUPERMAN (2025)
Looks like Zordon from the Power Rangers movie. It seems you may be right. I'm really liking his design though.
With respect to the turn-in/bust out timeline, the suit damage is what has me confused about that timeline. The suit has the same damage detailing in the hostile crowd, fortress, Stagg, little girl rescue, and third act apartment scenes, but is undamaged in the stadium fight, Superman's arrest/perp walk scenes, and when Supes crash lands in the Arctic bloodied and beaten. So maybe the damage happens when he escapes back to the Fortress? Maybe Lex is lying in wait for him there after he escapes the custody of U-Man and co.? But then Supes' suit seems to be undamaged again in the shots of him trapped in the glass cage.I'm kinda wondering now if he first turns himself in willingly, and then when things go from bad to worse, Mr. Terrific (& Krypto) bust him out, and that's when the fight in the stadium happens.
Also, I wonder if he's been ordered by the authorities and the rest of the team to sit this one out in Act 3, and maybe that's why he's not immediately rushing out to help in that scene at the apartment with Lois (but of course he's going to anyway).
Tyler's Clark was a true Daddy even when he played him "young".Another thing i just realized, is that i want to also see more of this Clark.
This dorky version of him and how he behaves etc.
On that only Routh and Cavill made me completely uninterested in their clark kent.
Especially Cavill who had absolutely no material to work with as Clark Kent.
So im very interested how David plays this Clark.
He deunked it but what of those documents that seem to prove it? I dont think those were proven as fake?Gunn debunked that himself months ago.
So a lot of people have been assuming the kaiju thing is from the opening scene, but maybe it's not? Seems like he gets scorched there. I'm wondering if Lex & Co. release that thing (from the Fortress?) and other threats (Solaris?) to frame Superman, which is really what turns the crowd against him, whereas the earlier arrest is more a bunch of political BS due to his intervention in international issues or something. So like, when he's arrested, the public is still on his side, but then things get worse when Lex & Co. unleash stuff they found in the Fortress? Idk.With respect to the turn-in/bust out timeline, the suit damage is what has me confused about that timeline. I assumed the scenes of Lois and the Daily Planet landing in the pod/ship in the Metropolis rubble was third act stuff, but Lois is dressed differently than she is in the presumably third act apartment scenes with Lois. Supes suit is also undamaged when he meets up with Lois in that sequence. Could always be the result of a suspected Sun dip to heal and restore his powers, but that doesn't explain Lois's outfit change.
Gotta admit that I have very little idea of what is actually going on in this movie. It's refreshing.
For All The Talk of BNW tanking, it ranks No. 2 in trailer views.View count comparison is promising. I assume F4 will do MUCH better than these, but still.

I think it's more likely the reporter not knowing exactly how to interpret the document. Like, that number was probably real, but included the marketing budget (which is usually between 1/3-1/2 of the production budget added on) or something like that. In which case, $363mil would indicate a production budget of $200-240mil.He deunked it but what of those documents that seem to prove it? I dont think those were proven as fake?

I dont even need Gunn to debunk it to know that is ludicrous.Gunn debunked that himself months ago.
Yup. I said it before, but this is something I haven't felt in a CBM in so long. This is sort of the Batman Begins moment for Superman, if you ask me.Man, the moment he whistles for Krypto to come help him. With one simple whistle, James Gunn made us realize the human side of this powerful godlike being.
Emotionally, it very much reminded me about Batman Begins when Batman was caught on fire, fell of the roof, and screamed for Alfred to come help him.
Powerful stuff that makes feel larger than life superheroes feel like human beings to us. Good job, James Gunn.....
New costume for Mr. Terrific?
Maybe after he ditches the Maxwell Lord sponsorship?New costume for Mr. Terrific?
Agreed on Cavill but....at least he gave us this to which I am extremely grateful forAnother thing i just realized, is that i want to also see more of this Clark.

....how else do you get documents from one place to another worldwide?Documents?
Let me guess.
FROM THE INTERNET!
Gunn debunked that himself months ago.
A local ABC news affiliate will make up fake documents for a movie? Why?Documents?
Let me guess.

As is true for Superman, trailer views does not mean much. Its fun for us because we get caught up in the hype, but I bet we could all find dozens of examples (Joker 2 was brought up) of films with millions of trailer views that no one saw when it came out.For All The Talk of BNW tanking, it ranks No. 2 in trailer views.
Interesting.
