Yes, that's why 1st Jimmy was replaced - the producers/network thought he looked too much like Clark. A shame because he was the better Jimmy imo.

Tbh, I'm glad to see it's been a mostly positive reception to the trailer. Some people are still hung up on the suit, it not being Cavill, and Guys hair (that one makes me laugh) but I genuinely feel this is going to be a fantastic movie.

Throwing this out there, I think the kaiju is first test experiment created by lex while he tries to figure out how to make "Ultraman". It's been said before but someone compared it to an axolotl and I think it actually might be one that lex has experimented on...but it also has really nice eyes that are almost human looking so I think Supes is going to have to get this beast to chill rather than kill (obviously) and it'll be classic Gunn and his tortured experimental animal ideas.

Tbh, I'm glad to see it's been a mostly positive reception to the trailer. Some people are still hung up on the suit, it not being Cavill, and Guys hair (that one makes me laugh) but I genuinely feel this is going to be a fantastic movie.

A million likes in one day tells you how the trailer is being perceived. When the negatives are issues with the CGI of Krypto, the suit, not close to views of Deadpool & Wolverine, and Guy Gardener looks terrible I think those voices are reaching. Honestly, part of me hopes the kaiju itself is nothing at all. No big plot reason. Helps introduce some characters and story elements, but isn't like part of a plan. Gotham has muggings, Metropolis has giant kaijus that might step in you while you're taking your smoke break. **** happens.

I did see Ole Sneider Man said there's "trouble behind the scenes" after the trailer launched. Just having a hard time believing that right now.

Yeah him, this Den of the Nerd tool, and the Queen herself, Grace Randolph, were praying for this trailer to fail. Randolph went as far as to compare the trailer to Snow White. Even her die hards roasted her on X for her opinion. You got to remember some of this stuff is personal so take it all with a grain of salt. DC studios is under lots of pressure. It’s very important that Batman and Superman succeed. I bet the issue behind the scenes is the suits want the DCU Batman like tomorrow while Gunn is waiting for the right moment to introduce him. Superman will go a long way to hold the suits off.

Frank Grillo was right about the trailer and some folks wanted to ignore what he said and listen to hacks like Sneider and Randolph. Hopefully fans can learn from their mistakes.

Randolph hates Gunn because he makes a fool out of her every time she pretends she has inside info on his projects. She is a fraud and sideways had been.

This is offensive and not funny. I don’t care about that at all. God forbid someone have different taste.

I genuinely think Durance is the best Lois by far. Along with Rosenbaum as Lex being the best. Smallville got a lot right, to this day it’s the most complete and satisfying retelling of the saga of Superman for me personally. They attempted nearly all the classic villains to varying degrees of success and most of his supporting cast was introduced fairly satisfactorily. It’s not perfect but it’s definitely my favorite Superman themed tv show.

I don’t get the love for Superman and Lois. Not nearly enough action for me and I didn’t give a **** about his kids.

Lois and Clark is pretty good for a 90s Superman but the corniness is hard to stomach. Good casting though for the leads
