I remember how awesome it was to see the Batman Begins trailer for the Super Bowl in 2005.

But we just had a trailer in December - I think it's a little premature for anything new and I think that there's better ways to spend advertising money.

A Super Bowl ad in 2005 was way more of a bargain and a necessity before YouTube, TikTok and so on were huge.

In fact, WBD says that Gunn will appear during The Puppy Bowl with his dog Ozu, who served as the inspiration for the superdog Krypto in the film. Gunn will introduce a sneak preview of Superman and deliver a “special message” to viewers.
In addition, one pup participating in the game will be awarded the “Krypto Super Play” award.

All of this true. We just live in an age where the small minority is the loudest. The GA could care less that Cavill is gone , and the ones who are hating on this film are going to pay to see it anyway.

Plus, as soon as Corenswet starts making the media rounds to promote the film, he is going to instantly win people over and intrigue folks.

I'm sorry, but he is far more charming and charismatic than Cavill.

I like both of their styles. We'll see how David is on the press tour. He has a huge personality. A smug-like confidence if you will (in a positive light). Dude is fun and care free. Henry is a Brit and is more reserved and calculated that comes from an army family background (I have some Brit collector buddies and they are all like that lol). I feel the Gunn cast will act more extroverted and loud with their personalities with upbeat ambition. As I said, I like both styles. Charm and charisma doesn't always need to be in your face. We have had a good stream of Superman actors in that regard.

Never understood the popularity with Rogan and I've never really watched his podcast. Only saw some clips. Can't say I'm a fan of him advocating for misinformation.

There are so many other podcasts to promote the movie. Why not Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum?

If Gunn goes on Rogan to do an interview, its largely going to be because of the massive audience and reach that podcast has. No other reason he would go on it.

That's a good choice, considering Gunn already did a pod with Rosembaum, and how Rosenbaum is considered one of the best Lex's ever (and also a fan favorite) which is important to bridge some angst.

Not sure how they are going to use David as of yet, they may be prepping him pretty big right now. Hoult should definitely be considered on Inside of You..for obvious reasons.
