Gotcha. Thanks! Has she been rumored for the part?
Not exactly. Some people assume she's playing Lara because she has light eyes and follows Gunn, Tom King, and other cast members on Instagram.

Interesting. It would be odd to not see Jor-El and Lara at all so that theory and the scoop from ViewerAnon pass the smell test for me.

Yeah, ViewerAnon's been fairly reliable in the past, and I can sort of see Bradley Cooper as David Krumholz's brother. (Krumholz is playing Zor-El in Supergirl.) As for Lara, I have no doubt that she'll be in the film no matter who plays her.

We could end up seeing both of them in a small role in Supergirl if they do flashbacks or open in the past before a time jump, etc etc.

lmao looks like the scoopers are fighting over this one…

I don't think this necessarily falls under a scoop when this came directly from test screenings, which is ViewerAnon's forte'.

just heard that rumor too, came in here to see if it was posted, yet

interesting choices...

I do question, tho...
will they be actually playing those characters? or just voicing holograms in the fortress?
If you're avoiding spoilers, don't continue reading. If you're okay with mild ones, then BC appears as Jor-El in the first few minutes of the film.

To be fair, I think it’s less about being out-scooped than the fact that the guy blurted it out just to settle a Reddit beef.

Like, I almost never take Jeff Sneider’s side (and certainly don’t enjoy doing it just this once), but… it is a bad look.

I think he probably shouldn't of done it, but a scooper scooping is kind of the whole biz.

Yep, totally agree with this. Bang on. I feel the exact same way. It's not about the character itself. We've all seen Superman films before. But the way it was dropped out of thin air and something that was obviously under lock and key through the eyes of the director changes the narrative of what is and isn't a spoiler.

And judging that common consensus on Superman was how the film lacked A-listers involved in this cast? Yeah..the Jor-EL casting is a big one. Through my eyes atleast, and it feels like so.

This would be the first real big name actor to join the DCU. Finally.

Until now, the closest we had to that was Momoa and Hoult.

It's a big contrast to how many big names and established, reputable actors were in the failed DCEU.

Hopefully they go with someone reputable for the Batman casting though. That's the big one, that will make or break the DCU.

I'm guessing that it's a lot easier to sign a lesser known actor for multiple appearances (e.g., movies, TV shows) than a big name star.
