Well, it's a dull — not bright — yellow. Also, there appears to be a yellow border around the shield.

Hoping the rest of the suit looks good. I do like the texture and colors, even if KC logo is very bleh to me.

Interesting that the edges of the logo look stitched, as if perhaps it was homemade.

The yellow reaching beyond the red border actually puts me in mind of the shield from his earliest appearances, when it was literally just a red S inside yellow.

There it is! As a KC fan and a fan of the traditional red and blue S, I’m loving the design.

And I’m glad they dropped “Legacy.” It’s refreshing to finally have a film just called “Superman” again after all this time.

I actually do like them starting out with the Kingdom Come logo, especially for story purposes…. Could easily see it being the crest of the house of El. I also have a feeling that eventually, even probably by the end of this movie, it becomes the traditional looking ‘S’ we all know and love (with a little help from Ma Kent, of course)

The snow makes me curious. I’m guessing the first scenes they’re filming take place at the Fortress.

I was more or less okay with it, but the “Legacy” subtitle did strike me as odd for a fresh take on the character. I’m fine with Gunn dropping it.

I mean that would play nicely into the story of him trying to reconcile his Krypton heritage with his Earth upbringing.

I just don't see Gunn doing that however. I think he wants to be different and this is the logo he's chosen.

Disappointing, but not a deal breaker for me. I guess I'm glad they did not go black with the logo. That probably would have bothered me more, even if it was an S like the Fleischer suit.

I'd grown slightly attached to Legacy, but initially I hated it and so I'm not majorly bothered by that loss...

That would be my presumption, too. The image did make me think of those old beer ads where they'd have a slow-mo shot of a beer can being lovingly dug out of an icebox. And all the ice slowly falling away to reveal the logo.
