I don't know why it took the logo for everything to click into place for me, but suddenly that classic logo, the false impression of Creature Commandos being set in the past a lot of us had, and the production design for Superman are all starting to paint a picture for me of what the DCU is going to be. There's a definite "timeless retro-modern" vibe to the whole venture that I think I'm REALLY into.

Apart from maybe one or two trailers, I don't want to see anything of this film.

I want to go into this knowing or seeing as little as possible.

I'm trying to stay away even now and it's extremely difficult. I don't trust myself. At this point, the BTS, forums, and spoilers are apart of it for me. I'll probably go dark a few weeks beforehand. If I'm hyped enough, I'll crack. I always do and did hah.

On a side note, I think most of us are at ease with how superman will be portrayed, so for me, what I want to see, is a clip of Lex being, well, Lex.
Smooth, calculating, confident, suave, and oozing evil.
Just 30 seconds or so. Enough to get a feel.

This movie could be terrible and a waste of David and Rachel as Gunn just wanted his ego stroked, but at least we have the old logo back.

Same, I already have seen & know(?) more than I would have liked from some of the set pictures but I couldn't help myself.

I generally try to avoid the potential spoiler threads for things I'm legitimately interested in, there's nothing better than seeing a film like that for the first time & seeing something that you had absolutely no clue was coming, makes for a far better initial viewing experience.

It’s certainly more difficult when all of the discussion is in the spoilers thread. I keep catching myself clicking on The Daily Planet thread while covering my eyes like a 10 year old watching the Exorcist for the first time.

It is nice to see the 80s logo back. I don’t care all that much about logos but my God, that weird peeling-off-a-sticker thing that DC movies had for a while was a ****ing eyesore. What the hell were they thinking with that?

That one was a bizarre choice and the one before that just looked cheap and off-brand. The logo we’ve had since Rebirth was pretty solid IMO, but the bullet is undoubtedly the best of them.

Granted, retail sales doesn’t necessarily translate to ticket sales, but ideally the cult will stop acting like no one cares about a Superman not played by Henry Cavill. (lol j/k, I know they’ll never cut that **** out).

Word of advice when running for municipal level office. Make sure you read a bond measure carefully as the state and feds will poison pill it to hell and back by hiding it in legalese through some addendum.
