What is the cause of your iffy feelings?

Not a whole laundry list of things that worries me in the long-run just yet, but just trying to pay attention to the language Gunn and Safran are using with their plan that brings back familiar old-school DC trauma, is all. Superman and its success or just a good/great Superman film in July will quell all of those minuscule things.

The elephant in the room, or in my mind mostly, comes down to David Zaslav. I think the closer he is to leaving the company, the better for the overall health of the future of the DC IP, or mainly WB as a studio in general.

Was that the voice of, Alan Moore?

Jeff Sneider had his “best source” reach out to him to tell him that Superman is “testing terribly” and WBD executives are concerned.

I predict at least two more "scoops" about bad test screenings in the next month. :o

Right on schedule, and from the most predictable “source,” too!

How recent? The WB flicks that recently test screened this year so far were Sinners and that Minecraft movie.

I thought Sneiderman just said it had really positive screenings just the other day? Maybe it was someone else lol.

Sneider said last night after he published his newsletter his “best source” reached out to him to tell him that his positive story on Superman was wrong and that the film is “terrible” and WBD execs are concerned.

Has anyone else reported that it's terrible, or just the same guy?

So his super secret best trusted source said it was incredible and great and terrific and its being praised internally by everyone even near the screening then 24H later his other more super more secret more best more trusted source said no, no, no its actually the complete opposite and is downright terrible and WB might shutter its doors even before it comes out because of it

What a guy

And it happened right after James Gunn pissed Jeff Sneider off by debunking his Daniel Radcliffe Clayface casting rumor.

Which is what he (openly) rambled on about yesterday, even going as far as saying that (responding to a comment) "he's gonna let James Gunn cook if James Gunn lets him cook" and that he's "trying to sell papers here."

Dude was actually surprisingly honest, lol :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

It's all over the web though that reshoots are needed. Wonder why?

Reading comprehension is a lost art. :eyeroll:

Superman writer-director and DC Studios co-head James Gunn delved into test screenings and reshoots for the Man of Steel's newest cinematic outing. This comes after Gunn shared a new look at Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
Gunn brought this subject up during a DCU press event (via The Nerds of Color), conveying, "We've done real screenings. Definitely learning stuff all the time, definitely editing and making little changes. You know, we might shoot a couple little, tiny things. All my additional photography is so hard, because it's like, I used to be kind of against it. Because, you know, you don’t want to have to shoot again. It's a pain in the ass."
He went on to further note that as time has gone and he's made more movies, he "really [likes] being able to say, 'You know what? I wish I had a shot of that fist hitting that…' And so [he does] tend to go back and pick that kind of stuff up," concluding, "So it wouldn't be anything major, but those kinds of things, yeah, I'll cover a couple more things like that."

Its literally not...but I am sure that weird dude in his basement you watched on youtube and who has never even been to Hollywood let alone having sources there knows better than **checks notes** EVERYONE WHO ACTUALLY HAS ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THE FILM! :o
