Personally, I'm just curious as to whether there's anything reviewers didn't like about it.

Haven't heard a single negative thing.
I'm sure it's only a matter of time before people criticize the film for being too preachy and overly pretentious.

I'm back for one last thing. I DO have a negative comment or two that I left out amidst my immense excitement.

There was a one-liner by Batman early on in the film that felt out of place and didn't sit right with me. Others seemed to like it though.

Aside from that, there are a few moment that I know people will be calling "PLOT HOLE!!!" on, although the film isn't hurt by any of it. Some characters acting stupidly, not thinking ahead, certain conveniences, etc. These can typically be found in any number of tentpole blockbusters like this (including but not limited to The Avengers). Also, as is the case with all Nolan films to date (and I mentioned this earlier), there were a couple times that dialogue was tough to make out (particularly during one conversation between Gordon and Blake in an apartment).

Again, nothing serious. None of this brought down my viewing experience at all.

I'll go ahead and ask for a 15th time.....how many hand-to-hand fights do Bane and Batman have in the movie? I heard it was 3.

I could barely make out the conversation between blake and gordon, and blake & the orphan, in the tv spots, so hardly surprised

@theShape/@scoop,

Not sure you saw my question on an earlier page. How's the rewatchability? The ending, whatever that might be, won't deter "average" folks seeing it again and again?

Thanks.

Not at all

These seem like minor peeves at most, nothing to bring the movie down. Cant wait for the Nolan haters to try and justify why this film is a 5/10 etc... other than the fact they hate Nolan.

Scoop, what theme plays during the credits?

I always thought the hockey pads line was cheesy in TDK. I anticipated there being a cheesy Batman line or two in this one. I am glad you mentioned the things you didn't like too, those don't seem like big issues at all.

No problem. I'm sure the film has its flaws, and each individual will have their own critique. TDK was far from perfect itself and yet we still loved it.

Bring it on July 20th!

True.

I joined the forum to say thanks to Shape and Scoop and also to ask one question:

Is the court house fight at the end of the movie or closer to the middle?

They have both said Bale killed it.

I have a feeling the actors that are going to get the most praise are Christian, Joseph and Michael.

Bale has impressed me more than anybody else in the trailers/TV Spots...

Which is really remarkable, on his third outing.
And how it should be. I've been so happy with this. My biggest criticism for TDK was that I found Bale kind of a weak link, and I think that's due more to the script/presentation in said story arc than the actors own failings. Of course that's just my opinion.

I also think Bale will give the strongest performance. That's nothing against the other actors who are also bringing their A game.

I think Bale will give his best performance but I also think the reviews will focus more on Anne and Tom just because they're the new additions to the cast.
