I find it absolutely hilarious how people are saying these things about Nolan and his lack of footage. Seriously, when the trailers and the prologue came out, he was hailed as a genius, and yes, a god. Now, you don't get what you want from him immediately and you start calling him an idiot. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

Now, lets see, what do we know about Nolan? For one, we know that he absolutely hates showing off a product until it is a 100% finished. Think about it, he's already shown us a full length trailer, and 6 mins of the final film. For him, that is a hell of a lot. Another thing is that people forget, a large part of the trailer process is left over to the marketing division, it is just as much their responsibility, if not more than, Nolan's to release a trailer, when they feel it is necessary. Now, think about it, we've got a teaser trailer, a full length trailer, a prologue, and a few bits of footage from NBC, for me, that is plenty. Nolan is known for his plot twists and his surprising films, and I for one, want to be well, surprised when I see the finished product. If everything is given to you right off the bat (no pun intended) whats the point?

Come on guys, really, we've gotten a lot of footage, plus the viral is starting back up which will most likely lead us to an eventual more footage, I'm guessing sometime in May, just have a little patience, and let Nolan do his job.

It's pretty much just one guy who's been calling him an idiot. All the rest of us sane people agree with you.

(although I would have liked to see some more footage dammit! but that's my problem :cwink:)

I dont know about anyone else.. but to me it seems they may throw a teaser at us with two face, NOT showing him fully but a little taste in the next trailer
 
Its funny, it was never confirmed there would be new footage, and even if there was, none of us would have gotten to see it any way. Theres no way it would have leaked online. The best we would have gotten would be a description, and even then, with the amount that is known already about the movie, it would have been something we know about already and nothing groundbreaking. Yet Saint Sinner or whoever continues to be a flamer and call Nolan an idiot, even though he has given us more than enough as fans already.
 
I say After all the Harvey dent campain stuff we hear he will run then comes a fake tv spot maybe in theaters TRAILER TRAILER i think comes with speeed racer.
 
Hilarious - I've been around here a long time, and the complaining in this thread might take the cake over the ridiculous SR costume colors.

Just thank God Nolan is in fact a proven good director, and not some patsy who takes orders from Marvel. Take a good look at the Marvel films - all the recent films have pretty much SUCKED. Would you rather have early footage shown or a good, overall, finished product?

We have the same debate going on at the HULK forum - yes, they waited too late, now everybody is complaining. It's pretty much a lose-lose situation. Calm down, relax, this film is going to rule.
 
Firstly, yeah I had forgotten about paying for tickets, oops.

Secondly, great post above there to defend Nolan.

Finally, it sounds like they played the exact video from the IMAX presentation but I hope they didn't insert Dent's stuff in place of the Joker to almost downplay his presence in the movie. Can anyone confirm that Heath's shots are still in that montage package, just curious really. One can't really say they're downplaying the Joker in the marketing since they promoted the movie tonight with a 6 minute clip introducing him to everyone, but I was curious if the video package part had Dent in place of the Joker or not.
