Well, to be fair, there may be discussions about what to do with Superman that we don't know about.
I'm at the point where I want them to release it just so everybody will shut the **** up about it.

What's so annoying is that there are movies actively in production right now that fans can get excited about. Batman, Wonder Woman, BOP, Aquaman, Black Adam and Shazam all have new movies on the way. Watchmen is on TV and is amazing. I haven't seen Titans or Doom Patrol but from what I understand, they've been pretty well received. There's plenty for DC fans to look forward to. But nah. Let's keep spamming everyone about a movie that was never finished that probably sucked anyway.
That's the **** I'm talking about. Either these fools actually think Reeves has any power at all in getting this released (spoiler: he doesn't), or they're just being *******s for the sake of it. Either of which is annoying.
Unnecessary gore and too many F wordsfor my liking. Good show but there is a lot that was not necessary
They won't stop.I'm at the point where I want them to release it just so everybody will shut the **** up about it.
Why? You really think that many people would subscribe to HBO Max to offset the costs it would take to finish any VFX? And how many people do you think they will just use free trials to watch it.I think WB should spend some $$ (not more than 5 mil) to complete the vfx and release it on their soon to be launched streaming service (HBO Max). It's not that they never spend any money on vfx in post, they can benefit from getting some additional subscribers and getting back goodwill from old DCEU fans.
The disease of social media. Before it existed people would have moved on with their lives and possibly used the time to better themselves in the process. Now they are afforded a platform where they don't have to and become petulant and self-important.They won't stop.
IF the Snyder Cut is released they'll just pivot to, continuing to, talk about Snyder getting "screwed over"

And as far as goodwill? As I sad above, these fans who are desperate for the Snyder Cut are just going to pivot and complain that it wasn't released in theaters, that they stopped Snyder's visions, or something else. There's no goodwill to be gained.
I said in another thread, there's no benefit to releasing the Snyder Cut. At all.
Don't be silly. Social media didn't create these people. It just gave them a platform, as you later stated. The disease of social media. Before it existed people would have moved on with their lives and possibly used the time to better themselves in the process
