Strap in folks the next 12 months are going to be.......interesting to say the least.
Really getting tired of the Marvel hate. Heaven goddamn forbid a universe based on comic books actually look and feel like them. Not everything has to be so serious. DC's had PLENTY of light-hearted and silly moments in the comics. Look up a thing called The Silver Age of Comics.Hope DC films wont become like those Marvel films that almost look all the same, that would be stupid.
On another note, it looks like we found one Hollywood executive that isn't afraid to reject the Rock.
It's amazing how we went from "Welcome back Henry" to full on reboot. So much for Warner Bros wanting to put Superman back into the spotlight.
I'm curious to see how Gunn is going to present a DCU universe that's mostly rated R and has no Justice League or any other major characters.
I can't believe that we're still getting a Flash film that's really in name only. I'm guessing they'll move forward with their original plans ofhaving Superman erased and replaced by Supergirl.
People have gotten so used to CBM actors appearing in trilogies (or more) that it's almost treated like foregone conclusions at this point. To that point, I'm seeing a lot of talk on Twitter about how Gadot and Momoa are "owed" third films.
I like them well enough, but they're not owed anything. If it turns out that they only get two solo films each in their respective roles, it is what it is. The studio has no obligation to make third films for either of them just because that's now perceived as standard.
Have heard that about the goings on at DC for a loooong time now.Strap in folks the next 12 months are going to be.......interesting to say the least.

But then if Gadot doesn't want to negotiate a new contract after WW3, you're stuck recasting Wonder Woman down the road anyway. Only now it's muddier, because WW3 would have released after the "reboot" started. Might as well just start fresh and recast at the jump-off point. Same exact thing with Momoa.I do question cancelling Wonder Woman 3, I think another film made sense. The sequel was meh but not as bad as folks say, and the first was about as good as any WW film can expect to be. Abandoning the Snyder castings that completely, even the films with potential, makes sense only if they have a JL reboot planned. And that I'd support. Here's hoping.
