I never thought in a million years that a FLASHPOINT movie set in the DCEU would be... a third Michael Keaton Batman movie. And they filmed an entire Batgirl movie with him that we will never see!

I have to admit, wasnt super crazy about the latest Fury of the Gods trailer. But then again i remember i was kind of lukewarm on the first movie's trailers and I ended up absolutely loving the final product so we'll see. Should at the very least be a fun diverting time.

I caught Shazam! on TV over Christmas and enjoyed it for what it was. Not really my kind of superhero movie. I thought the cast were good.

Shazam had one of the best dramatic storylines in the genre (all the stuff that was actually about Billy rather than 'Shazam'). Unfortunately the superhero half of the movie was super-cheesy and not quite as fun as it thought it was. The costume design was particularly terrible, though looks slightly better this time around. Certainly Djimon Hounsou no longer looks like he's playing a part in a grade school play, at least. And I'm honestly not sure Zachary Levi was the best choice to play Shazam ultimately.

Still pretty irked that they had to cut out Henry's scene from Flash. Given that the film will no longer serve as a catalyst to reshape the DCEU, I don't see why they couldn't keep Henry's scene. It could have served as a better farewell to his portrayal of the character than an unexpected cameo in Black Adam.

I see Grace Randolph is being negative again about the DCU. She enjoyed the trailer for Shazam but said the movie would be better on HBO Max. Then she seemed to be upset about the possibility that DC won’t do a full reboot. She thinks the DC fans will get crap if not for a full reboot especially if Momoa plays both Aquaman and Lobo. Strange take for a scooper.

Since it's obvious that it won't be a proper hard reboot (sadly), one of the most embarrassing things about the so-called DCU is going to be how they try to justify Levi's continuity when his movie could not be more irrelevant. The best they could do is be honest and Peter Safran say "Shazam is one of my babies, Levi is my personal friend and blah blah", instead of all the excuses Gunn is going to come up with.

I think people are being really immature with this "James Gunn and friends". He and Safron are co-CEOs of a film studio. As if they are going to make a bad financial decision just to help out friends.

Shazam was fine, fun... huge step-up especially since it lacked any of that Snyderness.

Need my boy Adam Brody to get more screentime in these.

If Shazam 2 is at least as charming and fun as the first one I'll be happy we at least got two of them because very likely we're not getting more after this movie.
