No offense to anyone, but it genuinely boggles my mind how so many thought Hillary would win this. I could understand thinking she had better chances, but thinking Trump literally had no chance? That's insanity.
Do I have to list all the problems with the Hillary campaign? Just the smugness and arrogance towards her base mixed in with her corruption and pro-Establishment stances? Is it really a shock that a professional con man like Trump - who, according to his ex-wife, studied Hitler's speeches - was able to win while running on a pseudo-populist message? Is that really such a shock? Especially when it's been a common occurence throughout history and still is?
And all the talk on Hillary being the lesser of two evils is meaningless to the conversation. If you screw people over enough...if you get them angry enough...they will reach their limit. And when they reach it they simply don't act rational. At this stage they'd do anything to get rid of the same Establishment they see as the source of their grief. It's the same sort of psychology that leads to suicide and school shootings that was being implemented here.
Seriously, how could Trump not lose? How could anyone even entertain the idea he would have a low chance of winning? I'm completely left in the dark when it comes to those questions.
