And he'll definitely be a big bad throughout the series. I'm sure there will be more than one Reverse Flash, too, eventually.

Yeah I definitely see both Professor Zoom and Zoom being used throughout the series' run.

Which is your guys' favorite Reverse Flash story from the comics? Any paericular moments you want to see in the show?
Return of Barry Allen and Blitz are my all time favorite Zoom stories. I personally prefer Hunter over Eobard, and Wally over Barry, but I'd love to see Zoom monologue while beating up Flash like he does in both, and I prefer the way both stories portrayed Zoom as less Deus Angst Machina and more of a challenge that the hero is lucky to survive.

If the ads are any indication, it appears as though the man in the yellow suit (whether he's Professor Zoom/Reverse flash or Zoom ) is going to get the treatment the character deserves. He's pretty much the Flash version of the Joker, except that he's only slightly less bloodthirsty, and a lot less random.

Anyway, he should represent the biggest challenge the Flash has ever/ will ever face - and as I said, the ads look like he's going to get that kind of status. I wonder if (perhaps not in this episode) but eventually, he'll end up killing Iris ?

Looking forward to it, but feeling a bit nervous for Barry (Grant Gustin is just so darn likeable as the Flash, very disappointed to hear about the casting for the upcoming film being someone else).

cheers.

I like how demonic he looks. It reminds me of the Daniel West RF in some ways. The promo shows him breaking into Mercury Labs, which implies a further motivation than just messing with Barry. I really wonder what he is looking for at Mercury. Any speculation?

I absolutely loved those two stories, Blitz was heartbreaking, loved Johns Flash run.

Though I wasn't a fan of the part in Blitz
where At the end of the story Wally accepts the Spectre/Hal Jordan's offer to make the world forget his identity, it stripped Wally of a lot of what made him different from Barry, not to mention they also gave him a job with the police, which added zilch to the character.

I heard that the mid-season finale will get an extended 2 minute overtime.

Just a question, I am not familiar with the comics, but if RF came back to do whatever he wants through time travel, what is stopping future Barry or Flash to use time travel and stop RF?

Assuming Barry can inevitably time-travel - what will keep him from changing the past (even if it means saving his mother) will be consequences.
Everything you think you can "fix" can butterfly-effect, for better or worse, into a million things you didn't want.
While for RF it's more - If I can effect this one thing - damn all consequences.

RF is limited in time travel by being unable to do anything that prevents Barry from becoming the Flash and being the Flash long enough to become hiss obsession. I'm gonna guess this show will stick to one of the more common time travel rules that you cannot change a moment in time if you know how it's supposed to play out, and doing so can cause a paradox.
So basically once Barry meets RF, he can't go to the future and stop him before he hurts anyone because it would alter Barry's past by getting rid of RF and mean Barry would never go to the future to stop him. Which would mean RF wouldn't have been stopped, and basically a paradox would be created. Though until we see the show address time travel we won't know, though I imagine they'll use similar rules to that if they ever want to do a Flashpoint inspired arc.

excuse the monotone voice is a great explanation..

Reverse Flash could go back in time and alter it at will (I.E. changing events, removing people from existence altogether) with 0 consequences because of the negative speed force. The way Flash's powers work is opposite to that so he can't change the past without real consequences. Which is how the Flashpoint story happens.

Can't wait till tomorrow

So this is starting any minute now? Or is it in an hour?

Well, that depends on your time zone really. I've got a few hours to go before it airs, but some will be watching it very soon, which basically means i'm gonna GTFO of the forum for several hours.

Is that scientist the dude from Convos with my 2 year old?

It started with a nuclear explosion. The result is that everybody is dead. It went 2 credits

That's how the original script of Three Men & A Baby went but the studio nixed it because they didn't think anyone would believe that 1980s Tom Selleck could be killed by conventional weapons.

now this is the movie quality s*** right here.

Is it safe 2 say that RF is somebody Barry knows if hes hiding his face ?
