The Flash The Flash General Discussion and Speculation Thread - - Part 11

I'm actually liking Bloodwork.

I've been thoroughly impressed with this season from all angles, including Bloodwork playing on Barry's fears and getting the upper hand by saying that he wants to make Barry a better hero.

And that ghoulish meal scene was a stroke of genius. Bloodwork is more threatening after only a few episodes than Cicada was all of last season.

They should've called Bloodwork "Oilman" instead. He looks more oil than blood.

Next week he's going to try to change Central into Oilicity. :o

The last episode was the only good episode with him. The rest he has been lame as heck. Half the time I expected him to cry...

I’m going to assume that this threat they mention will be Godspeed. I hope they give Wally a new suit too, maybe something with silver in it?

The Crisis 100-page Walmart is out today and you may want to rethink that by reading the 100-page comic first.

In the comic, Wally West sacrifices himself for Barry when he's hit with antimatter by Pariah's evil antimatter counterpart, Outkast.

Thank You for the details. We’ll no doubt discuss this further once Wally returns and the episodes have aired.

Of course they'll be renewed, and I'm sure they know it.

The question for Flash isn't whether it will be renewed, but for how many seasons.

CW does not like to cancel veteran shows without announcing a final season beforehand. They haven't cancelled a show beyond season 1 without announcing it as a final season in over five years.

Grant Gustin signed a seven season contract, and the Flash is the most successful show in the history of the CW (or its predecessor networks, UPN and WB) by a very wide margin.

So at this very moment, chances are WB/CW are engaged in negotiations with Grant Gustin to try to get him to commit to 3-5 more seasons at once.

This is what happened with Arrow. Amell was originally going to walk away after his 7 season deal expired, but they were able to convince him to come back for a shortened 8th season.

But given Flash's popularity, Gustin will likely be offered a much, much larger sum of money than Amell was to stay on.

Amell was the one, who is in charge for the end? Oh.. Let's be honest, where he want to work except CW since he still cant act and lost handsome.

Gustin is maybe the best actor of the whole arrowverse by far, we will see, if he wanna play save or wanna jump to movies.

Amell is already cast as the lead in a new Starz TV series about wrestling call "Heels" and he had a Netflix film released last month.

CW would've taken him back for another Arrow season in half a heartbeat.

That doesn't really say much. Netflix has released some crap over the years. Pretty sure his Starz series is just something him and Robbie threw themselves at so they could do something else together.

I very much doubt we've seen the last of Stephen in the Arrowverse, they'll be a cameo, or guest appearance in a few years. I'll bet on it!

Starz is a business, they don't just hand out TV shows to anybody who asks.

He's a trained pro wrestler and actor and it's a television series about pro wrestling. Makes perfect sense.

At no point did I say Stephen wasn't deserving of, or capable of leading a Starz show, nor did I say that he wasn't capable of doing his wrestling show.

Please don't imply that I've suggested otherwise.

You said you were pretty sure the Starz series was just a way for him to do something with Robbie, but Robbie has nothing to do with the Starz series in the first place. He's not involved in any capacity.

You said having his Netflix movie and Starz show didn't mean much, in the context of a reply to a post using those things to demonstrate his worth.

I didn't imply anything at all. You put certain words together in a certain order and they have a specific meaning.

If only people paid attention to specific words rather than making them out to be something they weren’t.

Evidently I was wrong with my statement, but then I never said I was certain, or otherwise implied what I was saying was 100% truth.

Or maybe, juuuuuuust maybe, you misinterpreted what I said.

My meaning (to save you any confusion, I’ll break it down); Netflix has released some poor films over the years. You seemed to be using his Netflix film to highlight how popular and successful he/it would be.

A film released on Netflix doesn’t guarantee that. Netflix films (I think) have been more miss than hit.

If you interpret them that way, maybe, but then I replied to inform you otherwise and you’re still trying to argue the case?

You're not very good at expressing your ideas coherently.
