I'm a little upset at myself that the easter egg took as long as it did to register.

That strikes me as a nod to the Cosmic Treadmill.

Oh. Yeah, I see it. But then again, a treadmill would be standard way of measuring someone's running speed. It's not necessarily a nod to the CT.

Jeez, even if the pilot hadn't leaked online, with the way the cw has been promoting this thing, they've essentially shown most of the pilot in their promotional materials.

Why do they keep using footage from the pilot when they could use some stuff from other episodes to help promote it?

Not sure, at least they haven't put the pilots twist end scene into the ads though.

I love how they keep stressing that this show will be much lighter than arrow, and love that little description they gave to tease the crossover, I actually liked pretty much everything about that article, I really am getting a great feeling about this show, it seems like the first season is gonna come out swinging with everything its got.

Booster gold spin off.. Seriously, how awesome would that be? The best part is you could pay for the whole damn thing with product placement and it wouldn't be remotely out of place!

I saw two Flash commercials during tonight's episode of Gotham. I can't wait to see what kind of numbers the pilot pulls.

The actor then went on confirm that he's been reading up on the Reverse-Flash in case he ends up taking on that role somehow, and talks below about what he finds interesting about the Thawnes. He seemingly goes on to confirm that both Reverse-Flash and Wally West are indeed on the way, along with Cobalt Blue! "It was fascinating to me, and I think the family lineage -- they're quite wealthy and they're from this old money world of deep, deep dark secrets. It's also fascinating with the whole Barry's twin [storyline], and who that is and who it's going to become. You also not only have the Reverse-Flash, you also have the Wally [West] kid, and we've had Wentworth Miller on the show and all sorts of amazing guest stars like Robbie Amell already. Things are turning over quite quickly, and I think you're going to see some people in other suits pretty soon." Of course, Cosnett could be referring to what he found interesting in the comic book here, but the fact that he includes Wentworth Miller in the same sentence makes me think they're elements that the show will explore. For those of you who don't know, Cobalt Blue is Barry's twin brother who was stolen by an inept doctor responsible for killing one of the Thawne's children. As a result, he was brought up the this family and ended up becoming one of Barry Allen's main villains!

We still haven't heard anything about Mirror Master, he's the biggest villain that has yet to be confirmed.

I don't imagine it'll be long before we hear something, they seem to be trying to establish the rogues ASAP.

Although it was somewhat of a given when we first learned that Flash/Barry Allen would enter into the "Arrow" World, it's still great to see on how everything is coming to full circle when it comes to the formation of Barry's own rogue gallery.

I say that in reference to when Barry was geeking out in the Arrow Lair about all of the known villains that Team Arrow was known to be responsible for taking down.

Honestly, I hope that Barry gets at least quite a few villains in this show who aren't cartoony or cliche in their characterization, where they're presented as serious threats to both Barry and the people of Central City.

I imagine the likes of Cold, Zoom, and Grodd will probably fill those legitimate threat roles pretty well. This show is coming out with a huge advantage that Arrow didn't have which is having access to one of the best Rogue's Galleries in comics.

True.

Which brings me to another topic, when it comes to the CW-DC Universe, should the producers maintain Arrow and the Flash as equals (in the way that Superman and Batman are normally portrayed as in comics/other mediums)? Or should one hero eventually be presented as the overall "better" one in the future?

I'm so scared to wake up Wednesday and see the ratings. Praying that they are good.

The costume still hasn't grown on me. While it does kind of look like he's running around in a leather costume, I can get over that. It's the color, it just doesn't look vibrant. It's too muted, especially for a character like the Flash. But that's just one nitpick, as long as the show keeps it light and interjects some levity I think I'll like it.

The biggest thing that the CW has against it right now, in terms of pulling big ratings for this premiere, is the fact that the pilot was leaked online in DVD quality a few months ago.

I'm sure many have seen it online by now and such, thus you have to wonder on how many will exactly make time in their everyday schedule to watch it again on TV when it premieres.

True but it doesn't really have anything competing for the same audience. Maybe the Family Guy/Simpsons crossover or Selfie/Manhattan Love Story. I think it will do well.

tonight's the night and I am SO jacked for this...
