That's a shame. I know the argument gets repeated a lot, but it would have been cool to see a gay superhero/villain/anti-hero as a main character in The Flash. I'm guessing that Berlanti only sidelined the character so that he can do the Pied Piper justice at a later date.

Berlanti is gay so I doubt his sexuality was the reason they removed him. They probably still have plans for him though.

Yes. I realise that. I was just commenting that it was a shame that the character wasn't part of "Team Flash" from the beginning as it would have been interesting to follow the character's journey to villain and then presumably to hero (or anti-hero) from the start.

I just want another epic storyline like Agron got on Spartacus. Heck, they can even cast Dan Feuerriegel as the Pied Piper!

I imagine they'll have Piper go from villain to hero like in the comics once they introduce him, I think he'll probably join the team after Caitlin becomes Killer Frost.

Did they upgrade Green Arrow's suit? It looks like they did, i thought he would get an upgrade for s3. And The Flash's suit has looked so much better since they upgraded it. They definitely listened to fan complaints and improved it after the pilot was filmed.

What did they upgrade? I havnt been following, figuring they filmed the entire first season already and no major changes would be happening until much later.

I think it's the same costume.

Amell teased a costume updgrade, though. It's probably coming.

I wonder how much the leak will hurt the Pilot's rating. I me people who watched the leak and didn't like it, won't tune in for the real thing. I don't think it will be able to reach it's maximum potential lol.

I fail to see how anyone couldn't have liked the pilot. I think people might look out for the next episode more though. That'll be the one to look at the ratings for.

In addition to the likes of Captains Cold and Boomerang, at midseason we will also meet Hartley, a onetime mentee of Dr. Wells’ who lost his hearing in an accident and now is out to wreak havoc with an invention of his own. (Of course, you may know Hartley — who happens to be gay — as the Pied Piper.)

also yeah I think there's about a 0% chance that I will dislike this. It's really ****ing hard to disappoint me with live action DC stuff (I hated Green Lantern at first, and initially enjoyed it as a comedy, but over the years, it's become one of my favorite movies, mostly because i have the option to fastforward through the scenes when Hal is young, the test pilot scenes, and the scenes with Carol), I'm just so happy that all this stuff is finally happening. Gotham was a 10/10 for me, it was everything i wanted, I'm thinking this'll be a 10/10 for me as well.

I'd imagine not many Nielsen viewers (because that's who counts) downloaded the pilot.
