I read a quote from someone, I'm not sure who, that basically said that, in general, you need to stick around for the first 5 episodes of any given TV show to really get a feel for it. There's enough good stuff here to keep me coming back, so we'll see by episode 9. Although I must say, I watched the first season of Arrow and was engaged immediately.

As a big fan of season 1 of Arrow, I have to say Flash surpassed it, by some way.

Honestly, considering some of the stupid s*** I've seen people post on the internet, it can be hard to tell sometimes. Not to mention how many people actually have been trying to speculate the identity based solely on seeing his eyes.

Does anyone know what the story is with the music releases for The Flash and Arrow Season 3?

Amazon says it is out of stock although they don't seem to have had it at all and there is no mention of them on iTunes.

Although the individual episodes have been good, I'm disappointed in the story arc so far - another displaced speedster stripped of the Speed Force, another villainous vibrating "mystery" speedster* and Tom Cavanaugh being ominous**. However, I have faith it will all work out nicely and differently.

* Enough with the vibration to hide the big bad's identity. If it is someone we would recognise then just make a better mask.

** Yes, I know he is not a bad guy this time.

And didn't Reverse Flash reveal that he was known as Zoom in the future? Or am I remembering wrong? I do recall that he liked the name Reverse Flash when Cisco first thought of it. Did they simply not reveal his future name?

What ever happened to Gideon the advanced AI/supercomputer from the future? We no longer see her or the secret room within Star Labs. If I were Team Flash Id be using her on every mission rather than relying on PC's/Mac's.

Justice Society of America makes a lot of sense. Some version of Hawkman, Flash, Red Arrow, Wildcat, Huntress, Hawkgirl, Black Canary, and Atom were in some verison of the JSA. So were Spectre and Doctor Fate, both of whom exist in the universe via Constantine (or, at least Fate's Helmet and a not-yet-dead Jim Corrigan).

Anyone else feel like it would have been a better idea to use Earth 2's Harrison Wells (later in the season) to help provide the evidence that would have cleared Barry's dad of Nora's death?

I mean instead of having Reverse Flash suddenly create a video for Barry to use in the event of his death, I think having Earth 2 Harrison Wells pose as Earth 1's and providing that confession would have been a better choice. This would be of course after Barry's won over the favor of Earth 2's Harrison Wells, possibly after saving his daughter from Zoom.
