After this season is over they need to get away from the speedster Villains. Im not saying Im not liking how this whole storyline is going because the mystery is still better than season 1 but in 2 seasons we've had having to deal with 2 Speedsters. In Season 3 I wouldn't mind if we had to deal with Mirror Master for a whole season.

It is possible that they will position Wally as the main character of this show by the time The Flash gets a movie. That'd be a nice way to differentiate the two Flashes.

also i hope that they can get Impulse on this show within the next two seasons.

I really hope Kid Flash is called Kid Flash and that he gets the yellow and red suit.

I realize that Wally is the same age as Flash, so calling him Kid Flash doesn't exactly make sense, but perhaps he sees it as a not literal nickname, like "Kid Cudi" or something. Just a thought.

Yeah, it'd be nice to see Mirror Master or Kadabra be next season's big bad.

Wally's a little younger. If Barry's 26 and Iris 27 (I think) that'd put Wally around 22-24.

Forget speedsters. I'm a little tired of him being beaten by *non* speedsters, who aren't even making a pretense at using logical anti-speedster tactics and methods. A non-speedster shooting anything at Barry should be an absolute non-threat.

Yeah, Barry jobs a lot. Like WWE type jobbing. There has to be better/more creative ways for bad guys to beat him that doesn't require him sucking.

I'd like that too, but honestly, that's something they still deal with in the Flash comics. I think it's kind of inevitable. Because if you write Barry, or any speedster, even somewhat to their potential...the only person that could combat them would be another speedster. Anyone else would be cake for them to take care of. Heck, Flash should be able to easily take out Superman when written right, so there should literally never be a situation where someone like Cold or Boomerang could make him even break a tenth of a sweat unless they jump him while he's asleep.

Wait...really? I think S1 was miles ahead of this season writing wise. And this season still isn't bad, but they found a way to keep a sense of mystery with Wells even once we knew he was reverse Flash. He was a layered character that kept us guessing right up to the end. Zoom is very simple in comparison. He's cool looking and freaky, but as of now, his motivation is pretty simple and there's absolutely no personal connection to Barry thus far. That doesn't mean he's bad, but he's definitely been less engaging than Wells was last season.

lol ya it is, you know nothing about the inner workings of this show :drl:

I do know that if they're going to hand the show over to someone else, they'd have introduced him with a lot more bang than just showing up and frowning at Joe every other episode. Like Barry on Arrow, they came out of the gate swinging to get people attached to him. Wally's a new supporting character. I like this version of Wally fine, but if they're planning on axing Gustin and making him carry the entire show, they dropped the ball hard.

if it happens it'll be in a couple seasons, your logic makes no sense. you really have no idea what they will do! it could very well go either way

I wouldn't want to watch Keiynan Lonsdale as the lead of this show. He seems a rather boring and bland actor.

I can only see it working if they do the Crisis storyline in season 9 and Wally takes over in season 10 and Barry returns for the finale.

We think that his goal is to get Barry's (and perhaps other Flash's) speed. But we don't know his true motives as to why. And that's what's made the mystery even more threatening.

The person behind the mask will be the face, if not presence, of someone very close to Barry, be assured. In telling stories, writers are looking for drama...and the clue to figuring out Zoom will be...what would create the most damaging psychological dilemma/reaction for Barry? In this case, I think pretty easy to figure out...but they continue to surprise in interesting ways.

I felt the same way, but also I don't think they put their best energies into this season due to launching Supergirl and Legends.

I feel the same way, I just hope they dont let this show get as bad as arrow. If season 1 is as good as it ever gets then thats ok too I guess.

Yeah, and the season is over halfway done. It's fine when you have no clue to the villains motives early on in the season or story. When it's 3/4 through and you're still not sure what his deeper motivations are...if any...it's just not very engaging, no way around it. We had no idea what Wells was up to the first fourth of the season, but at this point last year, we had a good idea what his goals were, even though a good portion of him was still questionable.

That's how to tell a good mystery.
