Overall look and demeanour. Little things like that. Just my opinion.

How is he right?

He has good taste, I'll give him that.

Ok, the guy is a decent enough actor in The Perks of being a Wallflower and We Need to talk about Kevin (maybe even Trainwreck, although he was a bit out there) but that doesnt mean hes necessarilly a good fit for Barry. Hell, the fact that we've already seen movie Barry sporting long black hair, facial hair and a generally unkempt looking 'slacker' [for want of a better word] appearance fills me with dread concerning the direction theyre taking. Yes, its only on a cosmetic level but its a valid concern. Are they changing Barrys character/look to suit Miller?

So, did the creators ever come and say what the ending means for the show and the whole CW universe?

Hmm. Even Flash's two biggest defenders (one who works for DC), admits the finale was trash and S2 was disappointing;

Gotta agree. Show is on a downward trajectory. Berlanti is stretched out too thin with all these shows.

I think the slacker look is a play on the fastest man alive always being late. Like even though he has all the time in the world he can't find the time to keep himself groomed.

Better than CW Arrow is a really low bar.

I'm starting to think it was a mistake for Berlanti to take on so many shows. I notice a pattern that the first seasons always have the strongest writing and then they quickly go downhill.

With Berlanti focused on Riverdale next year, I wonder how the CW DC shows will fare.

It's general consensus that Arrow Season 2 was better than Arrow Season 1 by several orders of magnitude, so if you feel otherwise you're clearly in the minority.

I was also personally rather enjoying Arrow Season 4 and The Flash Season 2, but didn't end up watching the final few episodes because A) I decided to watch something else on Wednesday nights and B) because I was a bit put off by the writers doing something that they flat-out said they WEREN'T doing by repeating what they'd already done in Season 1 in terms of having Barry go up against a villain that he thought was a friend.

I'm still going to get myself caught up and buy the DVDs of both shows, though, because I liked most of what was going on up until the point that I dropped out of both shows.

You'll also discover the general consensus that Arrow S2 was enjoyable because of Manu Bennett's performance, not the writing.

You'll find he elevated the subpar material he was given to work with.

I loved both MoS and BvS.
No living in a dreamworld for me.

Same team isn't even behind the flash anyway.

I know this is really hard for you to understand, but concept art is just concept art.
The final suit will be what I judge.
My argument won't be going anywhere until then.

Lol

I just can't really discuss this because we just have complete opposite opinions. BvS was one of the biggest cbm disasters ever in my eyes , and I really hate the DCEU so far. Theirs is probably my least favorite interpretation of Superman ever.

I have little faith in anything besides Afflecks Batman

At this point I anticipate these movies purely for cosmetic reasons. The coolest part of BVS was seeing these characters in live action. Characterization and the actual movie were both horse**** but j can't deny that it was awesome seeing the trinity together against the cave troll. The fight itself was lame but seeing them assembled was cool.

I wish the cw universe could have the rights to any characters they want.

Next season I love to see a couple of episodes devoted solely to Jay Garrick on Earth-2 with flashbacks to his home world and with his wife JOAN GARRICK played
by Amanda Pays.

Aww it's cute how you can still live in a dream world where you think that the DCEU can still be good. Bvs was all I needed to make a judgment

Btw

The Flash suit in the concept art is ****ing horrible so there goes one of you arguments

Because BvS was not good, the rest of the universe that is still being established has to be bad? Why?

And the Flash suit in the movie will probably go through quite a few more changes in post production, so I wouldn't really get to worried about what you see on the concept art right now, which, btw, is rather sweet if you ask me. The TV show costume is nice for a TV show (considering the budget) but I would hope for more on the big screen. In any case, I'm curious to see how it will turn out and hope it won't be a disappointment.

I think I'm with Rorschach2012 on this one - I really have my doubts about the Flash movie. I think Miller is all wrong and fear for the overall look of Barry Allen as well as the suit we will get. But hey, the FX will be better. :whatever:

Tbf, Barry Allen in the comics looks nothing like Grant, and I did need a while to get into him portraying that character, so I think Miller will do fine. He is a very good actor in any case.

This is kind of like when people say that TDK is only as good as it is because of Ledger's performance. There was a lot about season 2 that was good and it wasn't just Slade.

What you talking about this season was awesome. It was way better then Arrow. I love the season finale.

This season was quite a notch below the standard of season one. I wouldn't call it awesome. You can clearly see that the writers weren't sure where to go with it in the beginning, and the plot came along as the season progressed thanks to the storylines that went pretty much nowhere. It wasn't a bad season, but rather medium imo.

This season was, less consistent, than Season 1 I think. When it was on, it was REALLY on. When it was off, ugh! And for a big chunk of the season, Zoom and his plot felt a little too much like the RF stuff from S1 for my tastes.

Oh wow, I have to disagree with that. I thought that season went off the rails in the second half - particularly the flashback plots, which ground to a halt and haven't picked up the pace since. The present-day plots got weak for awhile and finally got exciting at the end, but season one was a blast from beginning to end. The Isabel Rochev plot was a mess, for example.

If I were to rate the seasons, I'd still put it second (1, 2, 4, 3, imo), but I'm shocked people think two is better than one.

I’m wondering if this means that we’ll still have a Harrison Wells of some kind, since it would be the pits if Tom Cavanagh isn’t on The Flash anymore. — Green Flower

Details on next season are being kept tightly under wraps, but I can tell you that Tom Cavanagh will be back as a series regular for season 3. Consider this: If the show does indeed move forward with Flashpoint, then the Reverse-Flash never killed Earth-1 Harrison Wells and his wife, meaning we could see the original Wells next season. Maybe. Hopefully.

Lol I was right about Black Flash since November 25th in this same threat. I said that face in the 3D animation video on the CWTV extras was really a wink to the Black Flash from the comics. Along with the claws, the mask and the color of the suit everything pointed at Zoom already being or being in process to become the same Black Flash of the comics. I'm the boss.

I only want 'Harry now... he's so awesome. I love his sarcastic a$$hole humor.

Watching back at one of the Season 2 episodes where Hunter, posing as Jay Garrick on Earth 1, rescues people from an collapsing building by using V-9....given on how Hunter was always bad, it actually funny to think that maybe the only reason why we saw "Jay" pulling out three people from the building was because he thought it'd be funny to leave the rest inside while still acting heroic outside.lol

Lets not jump to conclusions, Ezra Miller has shorter hair for Justice League and is in better shape than Grant Gustin:

We'll see how he looks once his first official image from Justice League is released.

Anyway, because superhero movies shoot for several months and the CW shows shoot from July-April, it was never going to work for Gustin scheduling-wise. It's really for the best, most people would rather see Ayer's Suicide Squad than Arrow's crappy version, and hopefully, the Flash movie will do a better portrayal of Iris, Wally, Zoom and other characters.

.

Is he? The pictures that I've seen don't show a huge difference in physique, at least in terms of fitting the character.
