I kept saying it would max out at 4 eps tops, and that something connected in some way to that alternate universe would be spun off into the threat of the main arc of the season.
 
Oh, for a second I thought you meant she was Talia on Legends of Tomorrow, not The Dark Knight Rises. Almost had a paradox moment there.
 
not likely.... they know that the louder Arrow whingers bleat on about Donna a lot, so they'll not want to give their Flash versions the same thing to bleat on about.

I get the sense Caitlin's mom will be a bit of a *****, rather than just unable to understand her brainy daughter.

None at all. They set up last season that Caitlin had some issues of her own, and I think it's more than likely that this will push her closer towards becoming Killer Frost, or at least flirting with that idea.

it's kinad like what the other's above just stated. but way different. here in the flash the writers have it planned out for us to hate caitlins mom cause what caitlin mom does is akin to how a drunk parent comes back from work and take out their frsutration on their familyb after terrble day of work or just iserable over all in this case it's solely Caitlin. and it's over lossing her other child .


where with Donna she was never planned to be hated. it's just the writers gave donna really bad character traits from both the parents from tranfomrer's or gorge's parent's from seidfied or Howard's mom from big bang theory, where she's just loud at certain times and too talkative and kept dropping her in situation's where she'd cause unnecessary chatter, when they have work to do (are facing clear and present danger )like make sure her self and other peoples(hostages) lives are saved .

but she's trying have weird argument's with her ex husband at the very moment the need to focus on major threat or insert her self into other peoples business which isn't place to and ruined an only Allie relation the team needs like captain trying get his job back .

There's the difference. ones planned to be hated , the other which came first was never planned to be hated it's just the writer for felicity's mom and the situation is just very short sighted with trait give to Donna . oh and half felcity unnecessary stuff like habit of inserting her self into business she not supposed to be in yet, seem's to be a learned trait from mom in way too which other fan's noticed as well .

nah she'll just be hated for other reason's . unlike Donna it's not like the writer didn't see it coming. caitlin mom is an abuser due to something terrible in their family's past like the supposed lost of child caitlin broher. I guess he was wondering if we we're gonna hate here like donna or nearly hated iris's mom.

It sorta almost happened with iris's mom ,too to degree. when iris made it out that her may have been faking the dying thing and hiding the baby brother thing too.

Flash's powers going out of whack rather than disappearing instantly? I absolutely love that! While it is different from the comic, we already had powerless Barry - this gives us something new while essentially remaining true.

I expected him to be a big bad as well. That being said, given the two speedster villains, it's hard for anyone else alone to measure up. As long as he isn't killed or imprisoned at the end of the episode, I think there's plenty of room to be a recurring threat this season.
 
Excellent news. I've been looking forward to seeing Mirror Master in this show. There's lots of possibilities for showcasing his abilities. It could be a real visual treat.

I believe that they've selected Doctor Alchemy as a Big Bad this season who's a non-speedster and non-metahuman. Mirror Master may be a recurring threat like Captain Cold in Season 1 or Killer Frost in Season 2.
