I hope there won't be too much cross over this season.
I only watch Flash and Legends since I drop Arrow (and never want far in Supergirl)

But this is Savitar. If it wasn't him, I'd be upset.

This season is sounding amazing. More Grodd, Reverse Flash, introductions to Mirror Master and The Top, the only thing missing is Abra Kadabra now. I'd really like to see Impulse and Max Mercury eventually too, but I think Kid Flash needs at least one season to grow before they bring in Impulse.

Given that Gustin (and Benoist, I think) are really good singers, this is actually going to be really fun, I think. How will it fit with canon without being utterly silly? Don't know, but I look forward to it just for all the campy fun; things don't have to be super-serious all the time. :woot:

I mean I don't hate this, but I don't love this either. It's more of an "okay....?"
 
The musical episode from Buffy the Vampire Slayer was one of the best episodes from that series. If the writers behind The Flash can execute their musical episode the way the Buffy writers executed theirs, it could be awesome.

In the Buffy episode, the musical was caused by some magic spell cast by a musical demon. Maybe in this show, the musical might be caused by some villain from the Flash comics who is associated with music, such as the Fiddler.
 
Music Meister is the only thing that would make a musical episode acceptable as them just singing for no reason would be idiotic.

Also, the panel revealed that there will be two Big Bads this season: Dr. Alchemy, and Savitar, who is also a speedster. (And likely the one we saw hints of in recent set photos). It’s unclear whether or not these villains will be primarily in the Flashpoint storyline or not, but the photos that we saw did show what I’m guessing is Savitar alongside Kid Flash (Wally West, played by Keiynan Lonsdale), which is part of Flashpoint.

Fans have been clamoring for musical episodes of The Flash and Supergirl for a while now, and during the Television Critics Association fall previews on Thursday, executive producer Greg Berlanti announced plans to feature a two-part musical crossover between the two superhero series in the back half of the upcoming season.
"Some of you may know my personal love for musicals, and we have a number of people who can sing across all the shows," Berlanti said, highlighting the musical prowess of stage veterans Victor Garber, John Barrowman, Jesse L. Martin and Jeremy Jordan, as well as the shows' stars, Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist, who both appeared on Fox's musical comedy Glee.
The crossover, which is expected to take place around Episodes 13 and 14, will feature mostly pre-existing songs, but Berlanti is also hoping to write at least one original song per episode. The musical sequences will likely be taking place inside characters' heads.
The musical crossover is not to be confused with the network's previously-announced four-show crossover that will unite each of the The CW's DC Comics series. According to Berlanti, the bulk of the story will happen on The Flash but part of it will touch Supergirl as well.

What!!! Rumor has it Joss Whedon is directing and NPH is playing Music Meister!! Hell yeah I loved the musical episode of Brave and the Bold
 
Erza Miller says Grant Gustin's Flash will meet his within the speed force.
 
ugh, dream singing, how awful, it was stupid on Agent Carter and it will be stupid here, so high likelihood this will be skipped and if watched, a tough sitting.
