Ah, I missed that. Cool. Hopefully the masked look implies that a big part of Dr Alchemy's schtick will include "fill the area with noxious gasses that even a speedster really doesn't want to breath".

The major ones left are Mirror Master and Abra Kadabra. the Top was dead for a long time and kind of tied in with the Golden Glider.

Abra Kadabra was usually only temorarily associated with the Rogues. I figure they'll probably use him as a season long big bad somewhere down the line.

The core 9 are Captain Cold, Heat Wave, The Top, Captain Boomerang, Weather Wizard, Trickster, Golden Glider, Pied Piper, and Mirror Master.

I think we may see Top at some point simply because Geoff Johns likes the character.

Mirror Master is conceivable as a big bad so I don't think they'll throw him in there with the group, at least at first.

But I'd love a 2 part episode of the Flash and company versus Cold, Heatwave, Weather Wizard, Pied Piper, Golden Glider, Trickster, Top, and Captain Boomerang. All of them except Top are already cast, and we have two Tricksters to choose from.

I heard from the panel at sdcc 2016 that their is going to be two main Villians this season one is Dr. Alchemy and the other they don't want to say who it is yet.

Too bad they can't reenact the part where Captain Cold kills the Top. Unless Snart gets resurrected. Or Caitlin gets powers and she can do it.

Only that its another speedster.

should be interesting

hoping that Mirror Master pops up soon, but MM could be a great villain for this show

FLASHPOINT WILL NOT LAST

He also weighed in on Barry's motivations to change the timeline, saying, "People were like, 'Why did he do that?' And I think that he wasn't going to do that, but I think that sitting on that porch, having just defeated Zoom, Iris says to Barry what he's always wanted to hear, and he feels empty inside," explained Gustin. "That was the moment... As selfish as it was that Barry wanted his parents, I think it's more about 'these two speedsters took away their life because of me and they deserve to have a chance at life. I can't do this, I need to give them that chance.'"

Because this version of Barry is stupid.

I think it could be shown as a good lesson. That way the question of "Why doesn't he just run back in time" can't be thrown up all the time. I am okay with this Flashpoint thing not lasting permanently. Barry is still so young and new to this whole power thing. I like seeing him grow.

Not being satisfied with his friends having better lives, him having his parents, and he did not lose his powers in this dumb process, and that makes a good life lesson?
I wanted THIS Flashpoint to last longer, at least one full season, or something close to it, no Earth destroying result from the good guy travelling in time.

At this point on the topic of "why doesn't he solve every problem with time travel" I would be fine with "because it's way too risky and complicated to use as anything but an absolute last resort." That seems reasonable. I hope that's where the conclusion of 'Flashpoint' leaves us.

So what happened to "Harrison Wells" in Flashpoint…. I'm very curious to see where he is in season 3. I like that right now it's mysterious

On the "Fatman on Batman" podcast with Kevin Smith and Marc Bernardin, Smith mentioned that the actual Flashpoint arc is going to be just the first episode and that the rest of season 3 would just be Barry dealing with the repercussions of it. I'm hoping that the Flashpoint part of the story is at least 2 or maybe even 3 episodes, but it doesn't sound like it'll actually be that long. He's supposed to direct the 7th episode, so I figure he's most likely right about it.

Only 1 episode is definitely not enough. That kind of blows

Yeah that's a real bummer. I hate when tv shows do these drastic changes only to reverse them in the same or next episode.
