We don't seem to have any big, overarching mystery this season yet.

We have who Alchemy is, what threat he is preparing the world for (crossover tie-in perhaps?) and how he's doing it. I think it's on par with last season's who is Zoom thing but seemingly less convoluted for now.

I still think she should change her name to frost bite. Maybe a sign of things to come for the show. who knows?

Could Alchemy give powers to the non-meta Hunter Zolomon of Earth 1? Not that I would want to see that, but isn't that something Alchemy might want to do, so that he has the powers of Earth 2 Zolomon?

Or is Alchemy only giving powers to those who had them in Flashpoint?

I'm not sure if this is really the case because I don't recall Caitlin having powers in Flashpoint. So it could be encompassing other Earths.

hey guys, I'm just curious, but where are Central City and Keystone City located in the tv show?

according to the DC wiki, in the comics, Central City is in Missouri and Keystone City is in Kansas. And the two are "sister cities" across the rive from each other.

so, it seems both cities could be analogous to Kansas City, with a Kansas City, Kansas side ( Keystone City ) and a Kansas City, Missouri side ( Central City ).

and some maps also show that Central and Keystone are located roughly where Kansas City is located in their respective states.

is that still the case in the tv show?

I don't think it's been implied that Caitlin's powers came from Alchemy. Probably just a late manifestation of particle accelerator powers like with Cisco.

Either that or it's most likely a side effect from Barry's time traveling where, in the previous timeline, Caitlin was fine and normal but only after Barry altered the timeline once more...she came out of it with powers.

In some ways, RF wasn't kidding when he said that Barry was now the villain. If Caitlin becomes the evil version of Killer Frost then that's going to be all on Barry. Dante is dead, Edward Claris (the Rival) is also dead, and Frankie is now a metahuman who's just experienced more trauma as a result of having powers now.

TBF, that can't all be laid at Barry's feet. Yes, he was the catalyst, but people still make their own decisions. No one made Claris do evil things, and no one can simply make Caitlin the evil version of herself. As for Frankie, yes that is on Barry, but only in that his actions made her gaining powers a possibility. Alchemy is still more directly responsible for Claris and Frankie, as he took an active part in transferring their powers back to them.
And Dante... I still wouldn't say that was Barry's fault. Deaths that are accidental should never be assigned to any particular person. It was an accident. Unless we find out later on that it wasn't...

If Barry found out the consequences of resetting Flash point, surely he would find this worse than what occurred in Flash point, which wasn't really all that bad. Wally wasn't dead, and Barry was just forgetting memories. But most of it was fine.

You realize the reserve flash against the Legends is the one before he killed Barry's mother.. Not the post-flashpoint one.

so after seeing events of barry meeting people like plastque that kid that needed help with a cure of turning old in season 2 Due to using his powers of super human strenght . and magenta and magnetic powers . they just neended help over all as meta humans and I looked this up after seeing that red headed villain in supergirl this week . that looks like the metahuman villain volcana who's from superman Rogues gallery, I did some looking up.


and the best way for meta's that aren't criminal's to lern to control ttheir power's or find cure's if it's some how harming or ther issues's would to have what was inthe DC lore already it's called the Center for Paranormal Studies

Which researched and helped meta humans. tthere was one in metropolis inthe DCAU.

it should be a branch of Sta rlabs in their live action series as better way help certain meta's that don't care to commit crimes just learn to conrtol their powers . and maybe see some of the other mknown meta human as verious student of varying age groups like teen's to university / gradschool


dc already created this in tv media already via the animated series of superman to JLU. even though it's similar to X-men minus the X-men.


after all they showed they can't be all villains.

the shows doing well enough in the ratings unlike arrow which isn't show on some of the channel it used to be shown on. in the area's I'm at any way. and I have fiber wire (rivals satellite )

for example when arrow started it was show on alot of channels when it aired on the canadian side be side the cw channels

but since season4 ended last year.

where it was all CTV channel's they moved it this year to only ctv2 channels

so anyone that doesn't have cw channels or ctv2 channels here can't see arrow.


But flash however is still aired on normal ctv channel's cause it now the more popular of shows. So my guess is they aren't reusing the speed shots/inserts from previous seasons/episodes cause it was a way of saving money.


But flash is doing so well in rating's that they have the fund's to not worry budget wise.

I miss Eddie! He was such a likable character. If there was someone else Iris could be with be and be happy, it would be Eddie!

With Flashpoint, he could be anywhere. I could imagine he transferred out and Barry of course wouldn't remember that, nor that Eddie and Iris still had a relationship in the new timeline as well. Nor would Barry broach the subject, thinking Eddie is still dead and not wanting prod old wounds.

Bring him back!

Time remnant puzzle.

Hello. I like watching the flash - But just a bit puzzled about time remnants.

If a person goes back in time for a few hours/minutes - there are now 2 of them - the original/real person & a time remnant (TR).

In the story, one of them (usually) gets killed.

A bad guy creates a Time remnant - now, if 1 of them gets killed - then the bad guy gets killed right - but somehow, the story keeps the bad guy alive after a TR is killed.

1) they go back in time, & create a time remnant.

Person A is their past, person B is the current / real person.

if person B gets killed, then they are dead. (its the future of person A, so they are dead)

if person A gets killed, person A cant go back in time - so cant create the remnant. so they are still dead..

Can anyone help with this riddle that makes some sort of sense..

hmm, i would agree. I wanted them to keep time travel out inseason 2. since they were exploring the muli-verse with other alternate realities . it would confuse people to degree if rush explanations with bot event's happening.

but the writers really wanted it in some how.

Again it's the writers chose and they have to see what the audience see. Which is becoming a rare thing these days that some things aren't connecting with the audience if it's not explained well.. it's the weird cathy movie(the Millisa McCarthy starred in and was written by her and her husband) effect again , where the writers think they cleaver and when it reach's the audience .... thing's didn't go as they expected.

^^ but for some of those of us fans who don't have access to that or know of this and just have sort understanding of it , they won't get it , if they have short attention span with how show goes about it or didn't tape the show.

this is why I kept saying they are an echo. they are a recording (a sentient one) in the speed force and this is why they don't effect any past events when brought to the present to help hero or villain . like when that one version of Barry that died stopping zoom's final plan, before zoom him self was taken away by the time wrath's . a more Extensive & very detailed "overview" is in the link above

It's not a past version of Barry , it's just a artificial recorded version of him via the speed force. The mu has this same thing via the astral plane with telepaths.
