Neither of those prospects sound appealing to me.

There's some photos floating around that show them at a cemetery and Killer Frost is there dressed in black alive. I think she might pay her respects to the deceased and is back on the run by the time Barry goes into the speedforce.

I hope Panabaker isn't demoted to recurring next season and that she has a long arc ahead of her. I'm sick of one shot villains/anti-heroes being wasted for one episode and disappearing forever, or transferring over to Legends.

I get the feeling though, that Julian might plan to leave the team after seeing Barry off because of his failure to help Caitlin because there's been no announcement that he's coming back.

I just hope that Season 4 goes through a strong revamp that really shakes up the status quo. Honestly, I'm tired of seeing the same Team Flash Dynamics and drama.

Rumor has it that HR dies (a pap confirmed this). Of course TC is clearly in the video so it could very well be false or he is playing E2 Wells.

Hard to be certain, but Cavanagh looks like he's playing Harry in that image rather than HR based on the hair and him holding glasses. Wouldn't be surprised if that's how things play out, HR is the easiest team member to replace. I'm guessing Julian leaves (hope he doesn't though, I like him as part of the team), HR dies, and Harry returns for S4, Caitlin gets her personality issue as KF more or less under control and is able to come back on board with the team. Basically, kinda expecting more or less return to status quo going into S4, with some sort of between seasons cliffhanger they'll resolve relatively quickly in S4.

Wishful thinking on my part, but I wouldn't be opposed to a group shake up, or if Star Labs was taken off the table and Barry has to rely on Joe as a cop and Iris as a journalist, while Cisco gets a new scientist job and does him favors once in awhile. Caitlin as a rogue who's more recurring than Snart ever was, who he gets into conflict with, but might make uneasy alliances with. Don't get me wrong, I like the group, but if this is to set itself up as a grown up show different from the CW formula then having Barry's friends have their own jobs that intersect with his solving crimes and stopping metas would be a start and would give the illusion of other characters having agency in their lives that don't revolve around Barry except when he needs their expertise, or resources once in awhile. Too bad we can't have that.

I'm this close to quitting the show. It's gotten really stale.

Me too. I can't take much more of the same stuff.

For one thing, Iris needs to be doing her job and stay out of Star Labs. Her being there constantly contributing nothing doesn't help anyone.

Cisco needs to be on the battle ground with Barry. Caitlin too when the time is right.

Joe needs to be more of a levelheaded cop than the impulsive and selfish guy he's been lately when it comes to Iris.

Barry needs to be more tactful, think out his battles more. STOP acting on his emotions.

Reduced Iris and Barry scenes would be great, they eat up precious screen time like Olicity did on Arrow. And let's be honest Barry isn't his best around her, hence all the terrible decisions he makes in favor of saving her. And they are adopted siblings which is gross.

The writers need to have a plan with the Savitar reveal or it's going to be a big joke.

I like how Cisco is a part timer in the field. If he isnt needed then he can be on the comps doing what he does best.

Iris needs to be on the street more if anything getting that info on the baddies.

the flash has become the iris and wally west show.sorry but westallen is worse than olicity for me.what happens with caitlin will detmine if i bother with season 4.

some will say those who like snowbarry are terrable but caitlin all around is better character and barry being basicly adopted by joe makes westallen
too creepy.

flash needs to get back to core team.iris isn't part of it.she is useless.

A part of me is really hoping that Season 4 goes through a huge revamp and revives the show in a similar way that Arrow did with its current season.

And one thing is for sure, aside from the crazed Tumblr fans, almost everyone thinks that Iris is a useless character. Either kill her off or take her off the show for awhile until they come up with something for her to do that seems realistic and would contribute to the story without adding forced drama.

Would she be this shows version of James Olsen..? I know in comic/canon, she is Wally's SO, but I really wish it had been 'what's her name,' the police officer who was on for only a few EPs. At least there, she has something in common with Barry, rather than as just another reporter. I wish they would move away from the prerequisite reporter/super hero formula.

That sucks to hear, cause I like her a lot. If anything, they need to get rid of all the Speedsters, and stop bringing in new people to STAR Labs every other episode.

But overall, I still love the show. Sure, S1 is still the best, by far, but I don't think it's gotten terrible. I look forward to Tuesdays.

Speak for yourself I like Iris, she doesn't need to contribute to the team. That is not her purpose, she is Barry's love, part of his emotional support. I don't need her to do anything else.

Don't you have that switched around? The prerequisite isn't reporter/superhero, it's cop/superhero. If anything Iris is a bit of a divergence from the norm.

Thank you. So true, if it's not another superhero it's a cop/agent/law enforcement type. Supergirl has Maggie for Alex, Arrow has Dinah being prepped to be the next love interest, Flash right now has Cindy for Cisco. Patty last season. Unless Lois were to come on Supergirl with Clark, which is unlikely and Linda was to suddenly become recurring and date Wally, also not likely, but a better shot than Lois, Iris is the last reporter love interest standing for now.

That would be nice, not killing Iris off, though I agree that she is a very unnecessary character right now, but shaking the show up. I would love for it to actually focus more on its title character, I like the group but they are really a problem when it comes to have Barry grow as a character since they hold him back to do just that - at least in the current writers' hands.

It would be nice for Cisco and co to either move or focus on their own lives more, still making cameos but not being there every time something goes wrong.

Same goes for Wally, I think they made the mistake to introduce him way too early, Barry is by no means able to stand on his own yet, he can't be a believable mentor not matter how much they try to push that on us.

Caitlin is a character I really started out liking but over the last two seasons I became totally indifferent to her, if she would be written off the show I could really care no less. The whole Killer Frost thing is ridiculous, and, again, just to invent new drama.

Iris is someone I don't want to go, because I love Iris and Barry's relationship in the comics (the preNew52 ones), and I would love to see them as that kind of couple, but right now she really only drags the show down for me, she offers hardly anything, she had done nothing significant or helpful so far, and while I have no problem with the actress, the writers really give her nothing to do other than standing there, look nice, and cry every once in a while. It is utterly frustrating.

I can already tell based on the few clips that Ezra's Barry is going to be written better and less selfish. I appreciate Grant playing him longer and looking the part but the character has been dragged through the mud since last year. He's become Singer's Scott Summers of the DCTV. I want Flash to act like Flash.

Yes, I 100% agree with you there. It is a pity where they went with TV-Barry, they could have done so much better with him, even if he wasn't much like the comic Barry from the get-go. I don't expect that Ezra's Barry will be a lot more like the comic version, bit I at least hope that his version will be more sympathetic and less stupid, like, actually learn from his mistakes, wouldn't that be a crazy idea?

I think Snyder might be giving Ezra more creative control this time around too, plus he's a fan who's studied flash. The show runners told Grant to "skim" New 52 which is hogwash compared to Flash's better story lines. Everyone knows that. Grant not knowing enough about the character and not having some control over Barry as an actor is really hurting him. I remain optimistic on Ezra.

I disagree about Grant. Him being told to read up on New 52 comics is because that's what this show takes a lot of direction from. Are they his best stories? No, but they aren't his worst either. And I'm almost certain at some point Grant has at least read some of the Flash's more pivotal stories.

I think either Earth-2 Harrison Wells, Earth-19 HR Wells, or Jesse Quick die in the season finale.

I imagine he probably has read some of the older stories, since the show has taken a decent amount of influence from some of them.
