I kind of wonder how the enemies with benefits would work out, I guess there'd have to be mutual hate, but you'd have to end up at a lot of the same social functions where alcohol would be involved.

Usually the EWB situation happens when two people who really don't like each other are forced to be together for extended periods of time. Typically the person is a friend of a friend or a friend of a relative.

As to how things are initiated I am SO keeping that one to myself...

I swear only women do $#!% like that. Have guys around them that they KNOW have feelings for them, and think it's completely innocent. If the roles were reversed most women would have a fit, but typically guys don't do this they either distance themselves completely from any women they had previous "relations" with or if they do keep speaking they have an idea that it's WRONG. Women seem to act oblivious to this.

As a general rule you should never trust any so called male friend that you GF has, trusting her is ok, but NEVER her friends.

I wish some girls would use that kind of rationale.

Speaking from the guy's standpoint, honestly, girls lure guys in that way. The guy gets set up for failure. There are boundaries you do not cross, and when they are crossed, somebody is going to get deceived and misinterpret. You don't give some dude the wrong impression. There are things you just don't do when you claim you just "want to be friends." Girls like that are dangerous because it's like they have no idea what they are doing. The scary part is that some girls know exactly what they are doing but believe it's either not their problem if the feeling is not mutual or that they love to be sought after by many guys as if it offers some form of self-gratification; hell, a maneater. Another reason why it's dangerous is because whether they purposely or non-purposely do the above, it's a sign of not being content. They have no idea what they themselves want and their priorities are not straight. That kind of confliction is dangerous.

I mean, it is a two way road. It's easier for a more gullable or seeking guy to fall into this trap, but in the end, all guys can fall victim to it, no matter how much armor they have on.

Maybe what I just posted seems kinda off from the current discussion, but that's my two cents.

At the moment i'm not even sure where I am with the girl I like. I have liked her for a while and we were friends in college (also she was dating my best friend so I was screwed from the beginning) and now she is single again I have tried to make my feelings clear.....only problem is I haven't got a response. We got a long great in college and we always flirted with each other but now I have told her how I feel I get the feeling she is ignoring me...maybe I am just being paranoid.

I have never been banished to the friend zone....mainly because I am too much of a *****...although I have banished 3 people in recent memory to the "zone".

I got this chicks number from Mars. At first I would call her and she never picked up, so I thought she was being flaky and playing games. Turns out the signal just didn't reach her phone until 3 days later.

She tried to call me back but by the time my phone rang it was the next week and i'd met a nice girl from Mercury. I texted her a few days ago so i'm looking forward to a response sometime in April.

If all I get is an LOL i'm gonna be pissed.
