The only time timed exclusive content matters to me is if it's a game I really care about. I don't mind waiting a month for good content. It gives me an excuse to come back to the title down the road after I finish a few other games. GTA4 proved there's a time limit though. I still haven't bought the DLC despite still occasionally popping in GTA4. It was too far apart, and I lost interest.
Not to mention sometimes timed content can be a blessing it the update is buggy. gives them time to work out game breaking kinks. Like said above though, full game exclusives are what I care about. I'll take a (just an example) 20-30 hour Naughty Dog exclusive masterpiece over a one month headstart on a $10 gun and map pack for a COD game anyday...Then again I stopped caring for COD 2 years ago, so not a fair comparison, lol.
