Sonic has officially escaped it seems. I think ALL of us are being hauled off in a vehicle at the moment, or is it JUST Shadow?

Some specification would be good, I'm a bit confused myself with the last Sonic post details

Yeah, I had forgotten the SpiderMastermind took off. I had Sonic get captured and escape, now he's with Mario.

If my facts are straight, the only person to be completely captured by the military is Shadow. Everyone else is facing the military.

Well, myself, Obi-Jon, Jinn, and Blacklight have been posting in the IC a bit lately, and things seem to be getting back on track. Me and Obi-Jon have a great arc being set up between Shadow and Eggman, and the Smash Bros arc is right on track. I should get some Capt. Falcon and Bowser posts up, though.

Also, this may be a little off topic, but can anybody get me a good Capt. Falcon pic from Brawl that could be my avatar? I sure would appreciate it.

Yes it is. Olimar would be an awesome choice. Although i'm a little reserved about Toon Link...

To me, Toon Link is basically Young Link, who is basically Link. We really have no need for him. But Olimar...anybody up for an army of Pikmin vs the forces of Hell? That would be a battle I would love to read.

Hmm, I remember seeing one with him standing next to Olimar. It was a pretty clear picture, but I can't really remember the details. A close up of his face from that screenshot would be great. I really am liking his redesigned look for this game, and hopefully I'll be Brawling with him by my birthday in April.

Yeah, Ness and Lucas would be cool characters to have. But let's not get carried away with characters from the Big N. There are still plenty of characters to choose from, and I think the Smash Bros roster is big enough for now. If it's gonna be like the JLA (which was the original plan), then we shouldn't have a ton of people at once. There should be some who are offered to join but decline, and some who beckon to join after the group becomes successful. Anywho, I think the true meaning of the SB is to set up a band between the heroes. Now we just need one for the villians...

Name of character and game that he/she/it appears in: Solid/Old Snake. (Metal Gear 1 & 2, Metal Gear Solid 1, 2 & 4)

Powers/skills/inventory of the character: He has the genetic material of the greatest solider of all time. He is equipped with his Otacamo, Solid-eye, Tranq gun, Codec and Knife.

Will your character be bringing any other characters, items from their game with them?: Yup... The eternal badass known as Hal 'Otacon' Emmerich. Although only through Codec.

Why have you chosen this character?: More importantly why have I chosen the older version of Snake? Anyone can pick the ass kicking snake in his prime but I wanted a more disgruntled, disillusioned, apparently suicidal Old Snake.

Can you provide any need-to-know information about your character for players with no knowledge of that character? Solid Snake was a part of the Les Enfant Terrible project which spawned the 3 sons of Big Boss. (Liquid, Solidus and Solid). unfortunately, being a clone his cells are beginning to degenerate rapidly causing Snake to age beyond his years.

"Naomi... Tell me the truth... How long do I have?" Snake looked into the eyes of the woman who had once betrayed him at Shadow Moses before redeeming herself. She could not bare to return the stare.

"Six months... your body will hold out for six months. A normal person wouldn't even be standing right now."

Snake took a step back, clearly affected by the news of his imminent death. But not for long, he quickly collected himself and stood up straight. "I still have a job to do." He growled, his voice even more hoarse than usual. Naomi nodded and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Here, take this, it should slow the process." She said, handing him a syringe-like object and some vials of liquid with her free hand. Snake pocketed the equipment and turned away, looking down a desert road, bombed out building to either side. A familiar beeping in his ear chimed suddenly and snake dropped to one knee, pressing a hand to his ear.

"Otacon."

"Snake... no time... explain, there's... wrong... area... jamming..."

"Otacon? Otacon!?" The signal went dead as Snake growled in frustration. Standing up he looked around and found he was no longer in the middle east. "New York...?"
